I was a huge fan of this back in the day, and I was shocked to stumble on its 26 episode box set preorder page. www.funimation.com/guyver/?gclid=CPCLlLncxpYCFRNOagodQkwXxwNow I can't say if its good or not, but it looks like they reused most of the monster designs, and it looks like a faithful rehash of the first Guyver series.

Kekeke. Ever see the live action movies? ^^;;;;;;;;;;;;;; I used to follow the manga and anime too but I think Viz eventually dropped the manga. Or the artist/writer stopped. Or maybe I just stopped reading. I dunno. :P

I'm a big fan of the original series, and I liked Guyver: Out of Control too. I generally only watch anime from that era, but I wanted to see this updated series. The only thing I've heard about the new version is that it was toned down compared to the original, but I can't confirm that.

Its toned down? That's too bad, because its bloody monster slashing was the high point of the series.
