It'll be awesome! I loved Hurricane on XBLA.
Ugh, because of certain confusion I may be getting a cheaper package with more games, less hardware, or a more expensive package with more hardware less games. It all depends on destiny.

I haven't bought Hurricane yet, but I loved the demo, and the original is one of my favorite arcade games.
I need more money. There's 3 $15 games I want on XBLA, plus DLC.

Yeah, but dude, DREAMCAST!!!
I'm getting so hype, everything I say relates to it.

Okay, so this has been scaled back considerably. I'll be getting a Dreamcast with Soul Calibur. Tennis 2k2, DoA2, and Hydro Thunder coming next week.

Dammit NIS. Picking up Prinny 2 will be so incredibly awkward...

You don't have to, I hear it's just as bad as the first one.

Well, guess I'm about to come into posession of another game I'll love then, eh?

I know we think similarly, but that's a strange coincidence considering I've been thinking of picking one up too. Damn emulator isn't up to snuff, and I found a couple games I want to play.

Speaking of Dreamcast games, I've got Sturmwind on preorder - anyone else up for killing giant puffer fish in a hori shmup?

Okay, first off, that youtube clip is nationalistically prejudiced. What next, messages saying "your ethnic heritage has been blocked from viewing this clip," or "your heathen creed is unwelcome here"? (found another clip on Youtube anyway--pufferfish look yummy!) But, on to shock and alarm: Games are still being made for the Dreamcast?!?!?! Looks fun. Too bad I shuck at shmups. No save state, no chance. (I still haven't beaten Ikaruga, which is my personal favorite) And so long as I'm rambling on the topic of Dreamsplint, does anybody know if it's as region biased as youtube? I only know of like three games I want to play in English, whereas the El Dorado Gate series spans seven games. For that matter, are there any RPGs aside from Skies of Arcadia, Grandia 2, and El Dorado Gate? ( starts up ANOTHER list *sigh* )

There are more, but to be honest you've already named the best ones. 90% of DC RPGs fall into the "not bad if your only other console is an N64 category". :/ I can still list some though if you like.

The thing about DC, as I understand it, is if you're pirating CDI games (selfbooting) you can play any region of game.

These indie games are region free, but commercial games are region locked. A DC-X boot disc with circumvent that protection for the vast majority of games - out of the nigh-on 200 DC games I used to own only Fighting Vipers 2 wouldn't load with it. There are free alternatives to the DC-X online, but they aren't as reliable (but if they work with what you need them to then there's no reason to look for anything else).

Wish me luck. I've just been tipped off that a local privately owned game store has a complete copy of Lufia 2. Tomorrow morning I'll skip out of work and be there just as they open. Hopefully they'll still have it in
