Oops. Forgot to mention I love light gun shooters like the Time Crisis series and The House of the Dead games. XD

Time Crisis 4 is supposed to be ok, but if you are into rail shooters, stick with a Wii. The 2 Resident Evil titles, Links Crossbow training, Ghost Squadron, House of the Dead Overkill, and House of the Dead 2 &3 return should be enough to keep you going for a few years

Just upgraded my PC to the point that it can run the Crysis demo on High settings real good. Plus now I can play the Ys games in hi-def settings ^^
Thinking of getting Batman Arkham Asylum, Bioshock, and Oblivion. Shame Diablo III still has no release date (loved the first one way back when). Fuck WOW.
You guys know where I can find a list of recommended Japanese/Asian PC games? Falcom seems the only one making great Japanese games for it.

From what I understand, Demon's Souls isn't hard in the way that would defeat you... it's supposed to be hard in the sense that you just need to learn the proper way to get through each area, and once you know it, you'll never die there again. Dunno how true that is, though. -Tom It's true, once you figure out the enemy and trap placement you'll do fine in most levels, provided you level up your stats and equipment at a steady pace as you progress, and the game provides opportunity to do it, so you've only yourself to blame if you don't. Bosses are a different story, though. Some of them are quite ferocious and aggresive, and out of the 6 bosses I've fought, 3 of them had an attack that killed me instantly. If you take a blow from a boss without guarding though, you'll most likely get at least half your HP-bar blown away. Bosses really test your reflexes and ability to read the situation and act instinctively. They aren't unfair though, so they're awesome. I feel almost shockingly satisfied after taking down a huge boss that by all means should have squashed me like a little insect.

Eternal Sonata is pretty good, pretty cute plot and characters, the gameplay starts out rather basic but it gets fun and intuitive as you progress the story and the battle system gradually incorporates more things at once. It's a good process of familiarization, but it might turn you off if you don't give it a chance to let it grow.
What I really liked about Eternal Sonata was the music, tough.

Eternal Sonata is awesome! SEE THIS THREAD! NO, WAIT! SEE THIS POST!!!It's like Quest 64, only it's done RIGHT, and it only gets MORE interesting as you play it -- even the gameplay ITSELF evolves -- changing entirely how you battle your enemies! The characters are beautiful, the personalities, the graphics and environments, the story is sortof atypical but it DOES get twisted. The score is fantastic, and it features several works by Frederic Francois Chopin -- one of the many heroes in this game! Believe me, you WON'T be disappointed.

The Tales of Hearts theme song seems to be one of the tunes too but I've never heard it before. ^^ Ooh! Cutey Honey OP! And ... ergh ... Cruel Angel Thesis. WTF? Parody section has Electrical Parade Theme BAROQUE HOEDOWN. Yaaay. Carmen yet again! But man, in the end, it'll be 70 tracks! *___* Hope half of them won't end in 2000. (Also, the Up DVD is for my mom. :D Gonna see if our regionless DVD player really IS regionless.) ------------------------ Oh hey~ The Wine Red DSi LL is very nice. I'm tempted to get it. ^^ But my DS still works fine .... only the screen is kind of scratched up. XD (Too much Ouendan way back when.)

Well, you spend the whole game blowing up bugs. Zoel is the guy to talk to about what the series is actually about.
Its not being sold in NA or EU, but Cave has made the game region free. If they get lots of sales, they will make ESPgaluda II region free as well.

I got Xenogears on order for my brother. It was supposed to be a surprise, but it was discovered... so he suggested we split on it.
I've got another surprise for him though, this one he will not expect.

Darksiders is coming out soon. I can't be the only one who's excited about it? I would also be excited about Bayonetta except the PS3 version is basically a middle-finger to all PS3 owners disguised as a game.

I never really read up on the differences between the 360 and PS3 versions but since I'll be getting a PS3 eventually, I'll be playing that version no matter what. :P

www.eurogamer.net/articles/digitalfoundry-bayonetta-faceoffI'll still get it eventually, but I'm gonna give it a month or so at least, hopefully a patch will be out by then to at least rectify the atrocious load-times. Or something, I dunno. Either way it's a pathetic port-job and if I ever find the man responsible for it I will mercilessly slap him with a glove or a wet sock.
