I just ordered an NES, decided not to go for the toploading one so I could get more games with it. I know, I might regret it in the end, but I really think this'll be worth it. Most people go this route, and it works out okay.
With it, I got Batman, Shatterhand, and Castlevania. My brothers didn't want me to get my original purchases and wanted all the standard stuff. I decided to follow their request and respect their wishes (even though I didn't really need to) but get some action titles for us all. Of course, they've never played 3 outta 3 of these, and only know Batman as a cartoon/comic series. Oh and, get this, my little brother has never played a Castlevania! Damn, he'll be in for a shock.
It came with the (obligatory) Super Mario Bros.! Happy today I am.
(Keep in mind, I'm getting more money very soon, which'll go towards THE GAMES. Kekekeke)

You know, it's amazing how addiction Super Mario Bros. still is, even though it's years old. It was the last game I played with friends when I had any in person.  Using the "rewind button" is such a sweet feature and makes for some good times, especially when you're trying to get a perfect flagpole score. XD *slides down... REWIND... slides up and jumps backward onto the blocks of stairs* |

I'm planning to get Last Remnant on the PC. Yeah so it's Squeenix and Xbox reviews were mixed and meh. But at least it's a JRPG on PC and something that's not Falcom (I mean finally there's some other stuff on PC besides Falcom). And you get to switch between Japanese/English text and voice so that's not too bad.

The game is coming out on PC!? Dang! I want it too! Hopefully, they won't port the load times and lag over! And about the music ... it bores me to tears. If you tune up the graphics to high in the demo, the loading times are a little bit on the long side as it need to load the textures. But graphics wise it's smooth as hell on my 8800 gts  After all its based on the UT3 graphics engine, so it shouldn't require too high a requirement for graphics cards. Ufufufufu. Jacked everything up to high settings. I'm just wandering around the town though so no slow-downs yet. (It reminds me of FFXII. @__@) Maybe I'm blind but I didn't see any AA settings? The game seems to sort of need it since everything is more sharp than I like. Gotta go back into config and check out the lighting options too cuz I ain't impressed with no-spiffy lighting effects.
I can't believe that it starts in windowed mode. :B I immediately went into the display config to rectify that! >:E
