Already? Come on, it's only nobember 30th.  Wait for at least a day or two.  I don't have any decorations in place yet, but we got a miniature tree from my partner's mother today. It's got small birds in it and everything! |

hmm. well i never took down the christmas decorations from last year so i guess all i need to do is plug them in. The one on the timer has been turning itself on and off all year long. i sort of enjoy that one so i left it alone. at work the halloween decorations are still up and will probally be up until i get a new job. sort of makes me happy i dont really celibrate any other hollidays. my stocking is still stuck on the front door knob where it has been for over 7yrs. sad part is after being on the door that long i really dont notice it.

Too bad we don't decorate much other than a tree. But there is PLENTY of traditions, like all the kids sleeping in the same room so we can talk ourselves to sleep and be excited together. And coming down at like 4 in the morning and opening our stockings+1 present. We open the rest with the whole family. Damn Christmas. Recently it has smellt like Christmas! I LOVE IT. I LOVE THE HOLIDAYS. Seriously, they are the most wonderful time of the year.

We always set up our stuff on Remembrance day, to keep the day happy. Our troops fought so we could live in the world we have today, so Heather and I make sure to be as happy as can be. We set our stuff up with the quickness, and Ill post pics soon.

Well, I did play the role of Santa Claus this year; sans the suit, bodyfat and white facial hair. We also have a white "light christmas tree" set up already. Girlfriend, schmirlfriend. Don't rely on someone else for your happiness.  When you've got Ys, you've got everything! |

That actually depends on a variety of factors. As long as the lucky gal doesn't break up with you on Christmas, you should have fun. Honestly, I think you should set holidays and stuff aside for your family, and let personal relationships fall under any other (forgettable) day. Otherwise, you'll be like "Oh yeah, December 25th! It's been exactly one year now, since that evil, evil woman did evil, evil things to me." XD Maybe I'm just a tad overdramatic on the subject, maybe even pessimistic, but don't let anyone ruin your holidays. You won't forget it. |

It's not like I'm unhappy or anything like that. It just would be a much more fun to spend Christmas with someone, beside just my parents and siblings. Its nice, but over time the girlfriend becomes a part of the family, and your right back where you started. Just drink more, and I think Christmas will be nicer for you. |

What you all should do on Christmas is open your presents and go 'yay!', not drown yourself in drinks or wish for girlfriends! Nothing is nicer than receiving opening nice gifts! *the greedy* (though being with friends [and I guess that would include the girlfriend for you guys  ] is just as nice.) Anyways, I was going to comment on the wreath in the art post but since there are so many more over here - those are beyond gorgeous Lumi! I've always thought Christmas wreaths are the most gorgeous things ever which must be so difficult to make. Its... kind of amazing to see you guys making them. (That white one is the prettiest! <3) There hasn't been much christmas festivity around here this year. :'D My mom used to make stockings and actually put them up for sale at this shop. But... there are hardly any decorations this time. Probably because there aren't many people/foreigners. |
