Is that also present in Ys ORIGIN?
It is in both Ys VI PC and YsF, so I assume it must also be in that game since its engine is a rip-off of these two aforementioned games.
I never played YsO though, and I never saw anyone reporting that feature's existence in this game. So, here I am, asking. xD

More importantly, though... you've never played Ys Origin?! WHAAAAAAAT?!?! 'Cuz it sucks. ... Haha! xD I can't joke about that. I know it rules. It's because I'm waiting for your patch. Seriously. But there's no need to rush over it. Anyway, so perhaps even with Genocide Mode on, one wouldn't be unable to finish the game, that's good to hear. But I'm curious because of that YsF bug that I discovered: that crazy bug was possible because of Genocide Mode. When a friend told me yesterday that Ys VI PC also had Genocide Mode, I instantly thought of YsO. Chances are that if Genocide Mode is present in these 3 games, that bug is also very likely to work in every one of these titles. Which makes me grim. ... I get the feeling YsO is FILLED with incredible glitches. Really good ones. Argh, I must try it!!!! *must play*

How do you activate Genocide Mode in Ys6 PC?

Theorically, you can buy enough Vitality Seeds to make your HP become higher than 999.
And I'm not sure, but I think that if you're extremely over-leveled at the story part you're at, it MAY also activate.
Or you can just modify info at certain .txt archieves of the game. Like Adol's name.
