Yay it's Boxing Day! Time to eat up all the chocolates and biscuits left over from yesterday As it was our sons first it was all about him, and he had a great time tearing paper and playing with his new toys. I got some good stuff too! MGS4, Siren Blood Curse, Ys AoN PSP, Castlevania OoE, a book on how to read hieroglyphs (*really* cool!) and the first volume of the Death Note manga. Oh, my husband also bought me some incredibly posh chocolates that I want to eat sparingly but they're too tasty to resist, so they'll probably be gone by the end of today

Not for me its not!
My mom read about that shithead who ran from home after getting CoD4 turned off on him, so I wasn't supposed to get video games for Christmas! What the fuck was that!? Argh. Oh well, I got Persona 4 and should be buying some with my moolah.

Okay, I got clothes, clothes and clothes Batman Mask Of The Phantasm! MUTHAFUCKA YES! Ironman The Movie - Pretty wicked shit, I didn't like it the first time I saw it (wasn't feeling too swell) but afterwords it was cool. Persona 4 - Wicked! WILL NOT OPEN UNTIL I FINISH THE FIRST GAME! Watchmen - My mom wanted to buy me a comic, but couldn't choose one. Luckily she chose a good one Iron Maiden Dance of Death - This is cool! haven't heard the entire album yet, although I really know the title track! Dream Theater Awake - HOLY AWESOME DREAM THEATER Dream Theater Metropolis Pt. 2: Scenes from a Memory - Wicked! Although I don't own Images and Words yet, so I don't have Pt. 1. Oh well, I'll get it later! $50 - Honestly, I was hoping for more, although I got a ten dollah gift card for chapters which I should be trading in with someone. I'll be using this in for - Castlevania 1 - Castlevania 2 - Castlevania 3 - River City Ransom - Faxanadu Now all I need to do is get an NES, and hopefully that Turbo Grafx and Genesis my stepdood has got in his old basement someplace. Beef Jerky - Shut up, I dig this shit! Lots and lots of leftovers! - Who doesn't want this!? OH THE SANDWICHES I CAN MAKE :9 Money I'll ask my ex-father for! - Awesome! I can ask for like any amount and he'll definitely get it for me! Boorah! So this way I can get the NES and such! Maybe more games too SD Zaku from Destiny (Blaze variety I believe) - Alright! Another Gundam! :9 tasty tasty! That should be it for me! I'm kinda disappointed, my mom put a dumbass rule because she read about the shitface who ran from home because of CoD4. What a dick! Now she told people not to buy me video games How sad

Ooh, Gitaroo Man PSP, that one is very entertaining. Also just now I realized that there isn't anything material-wise that I wish to have anymore. I already have all I could have wished for. Except maybe a laptop, but even that isn't very needed, although it'd surely be helpful! And maybe a car someday? Although I'm fine with buses, which also are much cheaper than fuel. So, laptop. Within an year I can obtain a decent one.

Merry Christmas guys, hope you had a good time. Game Wise I got some great stuff: Senko No Ronde (360) Genji (PS3) Blasing Angels 2 (PS3) Time Shift (PS3) Metal Gear Solid 4(PS3) BioShock (360) Dead Space (360) Rayman: Raving Rabbids (Wii) Scurge Hive (DS) Touch of the Dead (DS) Space Invaders EX (DS) Metal Gear OST 1 - 3 Onimusha OST Onimusha Symphony OST Blue Dragon OST And a whole whack of other stuff. It was a good time, and a pretty classical Christmas. There was: A family meltdown, 2 giant meals (the fiancee's premier Turkey!!!), whole whack of gifts, and the annual 'A Christmas Carol' was enjoyed on DVD, and in Black n White to boot. Oh yeah we also bought ourselves a Samsung 40" LCD HD ninja sleek TV. I like it... lots Anywho, enjoy the rest of the weekend, and I hope your Christmas's or whatever you do, turned out great! See you in the new year, which is about the time I'll have turned 25, and my hairline has receded just a little further.

Man, all you guys got awesome stuff! Me, I'm still waiting on the awesome (re: gifts from on-line friends). :/ I think the post office is hoarding all the packages or they all went to the black hole next door. -_-;
Anyway, in terms of stuff from family, I got Gap, Best Buy, and Staples gift certs and some clothes.
But! Hey, I bought myself lots of awesomeness for Christmas! And I even got more awesomeness for Boxing Day! Well, sort of! I ordered a Samsung 2253BW 22" LCD monitor and a wimpy 80 GB HDD for the old Dell desktop (as I cannibalized the one that came with the system for my new PC. :B)
Sigh. I read that the monitor has backlight bleedin' issues but I'm hoping it's okei. :| Or that I'll luck out and not see anything. ^^

Well I wasn't here to contribute to this thread, so I'll just say merry new year doods, instead. 2008 was a great year, and I'm certain 2009 will be even better. I hope it will be for you guys too. I had a really unusual x-mas, and there wasn't much celebration or x-mas spirit involved. Or actually, there was, but I just didn't "feel" it... but I guess I'm not really able to. My family (including me) has never really cared about x-mas. This year howeve, I was far, far away from my family. I got everything I wished for - and more. That is to say: nothing, plus some extras. I really could have done without the extras, though.
