Wow, so lord of the rings is boring huh. Never cared for war movies anyway.
And isn't City of Ember that Bill Murray show with the bunch of kids in some kind of underground city? Man, the only reason I would watch a show like that is Bill Murray. The premise of kids running around saving the day kinds of turn me off. Never liked watching shows like Harry Potter and whatnot.
Next show I'm gonna watch is probably Max Payne. Probably sucks and I never played the game but that's the only upcoming show that's interesting to me.

Wow, so lord of the rings is boring huh. Never cared for war movies anyway. I love war movies too, except for the "we are Americans rah rah rah" patriotism up your ass crap. Fortunatly, Miracle at St Anna's was not like that, and its really worth a watch. Yes there is an air of mystery to the movie surrounding the Statues head, but the way, or should I say the events that put the Statue in the USA, is what makes the movie so great. While it was not as good as Saving Private Ryan, I would easily offer it to anyone who is looking for a pretty accurate account of that time. It had great acting, great battle scenes, 70% of the movie was in native language (Italian, German) and not "British guys playing the role". The story fell in to place by the end of the film, and the story kept pace pretty well. There wasn't a point where I was bored, or wanted the next scene to usher in. Have a clear head when you watch it though, because it touches heavily on Racism, Religion, War and Human compassion. Even though the setting for the movie was during WWII, war itself was not the main point to the film. To sum things up, its a serious film for serious thinkers. Not something to take your lovey out too. I give it a 4/5, only because there was one scene that made no scene (I wont ruin it), but it only lasts 2 min. Plus, there is a really hot Italian chick. And I mean Hot

I'm sorry, you are all objectively and demonstrably wrong. But Justin came in real close with the second place. As for Iron Man, it was okay. I kinda hate that he's immune to falling and breaking bones, though. Because them falls should've fucked him shit right the fuck up, suit or not. Then again, I really really hate main characters who totally ignore damage like that. That being said, I didn't feel angry for having lost time to it, and the suit battle toward the end was fairly cool. Obadiah was...I dunno. I couldn't buy him. I did enjoy the part of the movie focused around making the proper Iron Man suit, though. Also I am pleased that: A: Tony Stark is a Harkonnen, as evidenced by his heart plug B. In a world that shits out as many superfluous superheroes as the Marvelverse, not a damn one of them cared enough to either deal with terrorists excesses or rescue Tony Stark. C. SHIELD and the government in general respect its plutocrats so much that they wait for Stark to be ready to be debriefed about the terrorists, rather than more or less ordering him to do so or be served a subpoena.

YTV (Youth TV Canada) Used to have it on at 4 pm my time when I was about 9 or 10 years old. Right before that it was the Green Hornet, so suffice to say that was the best 2 hrs of TV all day. I was pissed when they cut those shows, but they needed to make room for Power Rangers. A shitty trade if you ask me, Batman and Bruce Lee could kick the Power Rangers back to Zordon with no less than two Whamo!!!!, three Zap!!, and one Pooow!!!.

Batman and Bruce Lee would be like matter and antimatter figuring out how to get along, then randomly blowing up on shit they did not like.

Bill Murray is my hero man, he was so good in Kingpin. His hair flopping around makes me laugh even now thinking about it. It to bad to hear he was in that film.

Well, I'll be watching Max Payne after work today.
I know it'll suck, being a game-based movie and all. And I know it'll suck really really hard.
And I never even played the game. But I'm going to watch it anyway. God knows why.
Oh well, this will be the 2nd game movie I watch on the big screen after D.O.A.
Something tells me watching a bunch of hot chicks wrestling still beats watching this..

Erm, we're talking about Dead or Alive, right? That fighting game thingy. So yeah. www.paramountpictures.co.uk/deadoralive/It's cheesy as hell but you get to see chicks nuking it out and they made sure to include Extreme Volleyball elements in the movle. But if you want a serious show that features some of the male characters... err you might be disappointed. I wasn't though. I mean.. it's chicks fighting each other! Anyway... just watched Max Payne.... and omfg... it sucked hard.... really hard. It really was Maximum Painful watching it... Do yourself a favor and run away from the cinema showing it. Even my female friend was speechless at how horribly boring a hollywood movie can be. (You know how we're Asians and how we stereotype hollywood movies = lots of action and loud sounds). Man, even that Resident Evil series was watchable with that hot chick shooting dead people. Hell, I think Hitman was a way better movie than Max Payne. Ugh...
