What improvements are there from YsF?

I've read that there aren't many improvements in Ys Origin from Ys Oath in Felghana, is it true? It looks alot better than YsF, the arena mode looks like an improvement from YsF. Is it worth getting and is the arena mode fun? (dumb question?) Thanks.

Ys ORIGIN is worth getting.

"Improvement" you say... Well, that depends of what you may consider an improvement or not. There are many things that changed i.e. from Ys VI to YsF; such changes some liked and other didn't. Also it depends on what may have improved: gameplay, music or what? xD

I didn't played Ys ORIGIN much yet (since I'm waiting for the patch), but I know there are many new nice features. In terms of gameplay, you got to play as 3 different characters. That's just too awesome. And Yunica is somewhat similar to Adol for those who are unfamiliar with the other characters' styles. And there's even Ys VI and YsF Adol to play as in Arena Mode. xD


Buy the game. Play it and you will know it by yourself too.

I LOVED the "magic springs" in Origin! ^-^ I have a guilty pleasure of leaving Hugo right on one, and watching him bounce. It makes me wonder what a Sonic game would be like if Falcom did it. O.o

Thanks guys! I love playing Ys for the gameplay and the music, but the ending and overall story in YsF was quite good. I'm just hoping they make new Ys games and they release in Amerlca!

Wow, Ys Origin is pretty sweet, but the wind magic was nerfed. Other than that, it's awesome!
