Definitely. Some research regarding the necessary equipment would have to be done.
At this point, I'm pretty tired with this game. I played it thoroughly and because of the bug, I even deleted my save file and restarted evrything, only to come across the bug again on my second run, which was when I decided to e-mail that person.
Well, *scratches out the name of the game written in the "to do/complete" list*.

I can still take shots of them and post them away. But I don't guarantee good image quality. xD
(And yeah, they are really beautiful and "creative". My all-time-favorite Lilia and Feena artworks are within these 10 artworks.)

My all-time-favorite Lilia and Feena artworks are within these 10 artworks.) Well, there you go. xD Sorry I couldn't rip them, but since you can't really find all of these in the internet, I took a picture of each of them. Of course they're even more beautiful in the game. (That's the one that glitches.) ===================================== Also: Ugh. There's a bothering bug in the Gallery Mode of this game. If any of you plan on eventually playing this game until the end and are "game completists", I recommend reading the e-mails I exchanged with the author of a FAQ/Guide regarding the Image Gallery and Music Collection. I recorded it since I would have to do it eventually anyway. So, here, for the curious ones.

I like these artworks so much. And yes, all of them are there, they are 10 in total (5 using Feena as a model, the other 5 using Lilia).
There's certainly a way to rip these using PC Software. But I also don't know how.

Me god those pics are gorgeous~! Gorgeous gorgeous!! A bit strange too, in some ways (Seer Feena?! O__o ), but really pretty all the same! I wish they were in better quality but..... *saves*
(I is not a picky one when hoarding pics! X'D)
Thanks a lot for putting these up, Red Hairdo!
By the way... what on earth is going on in the second last pic? Is that.... Lilia with a collapsed... Adol(?)/Adol roo(?)/Something(?) in her lap? O__O

I chose other from the poll. I wanted to play it, and I was excited when a US version was announced, because I thought it would help Ys gain a little popularity with at least rpg fans, then I was really pissed when it got rejected. I convinced most of my friends that play rpgs to get Ys VI when it was released, and most of them liked it, but never looked more into the series.

Hey Red Hairdo, nice work!! Would you by any chance, have the save file for the game that already has the gallery unlocked?

By the way... what on earth is going on in the second last pic? Is that.... Lilia with a collapsed... Adol(?)/Adol roo(?)/Something(?) in her lap? O__O The picture is called "Liliroo". xD It's Lilia with an Adol-Roo outfit. She isn't fully wearing it. xD I wanted to play it, and I was excited when a US version was announced, because I thought it would help Ys gain a little popularity with at least rpg fans, then I was really pissed when it got rejected. What?! This game was going to have an english release?! When was that?? Wow. That'd've ruled. Hey Red Hairdo, nice work!! Would you by any chance, have the save file for the game that already has the gallery unlocked? No, I didn't even start searching for it yet. I have been doing other things, but it's mostly because my hopes aren't very high that I'll find it. xD But I'll search for it in all seriousness eventually. Once/if I find it, I'll definitely post it here.

What?! This game was going to have an english release?! When was that?? Wow. That'd've ruled. It was around the time Digicube went out of business, so probably early 2004. I found a small reference to it on wikipedia, but despite what it says, everyone at the time though Sony blocked it because it was 2D. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ys_(series)#English_releasesAt one point, NEC Interchannel proposed bringing Digicube's Ys Eternal Story to North America, but the idea was rejected by Sony, commonly thought to be because of their prevailing attitude toward the viability of 2D games in the North American market;[citation needed] but as more small profile 2D games have been released in the PS2's lifespan the decision was more likely due to numerous technical issues with the port itself including: long load-times (even for a PS2 game), frequent lock-ups, resolution flickering during menu or screen transitions and an abnormally large save file, clocking in at 1MB (1/8th of a memory card) whereas most, and much more recent RPGs average 100–200KB is size compared to a PC game. Many of these problems are associated with the game being quickly ported and released as Digicube was partially going out of business.

I see. That's quite interesting and also makes a lot of sense. Thanks for sharing that. =) It's a pity DigiCube was having so many financial problems during the game's production, as this is a fine, peculiar version of Ys I/II. To think they tried to solve even these minor technical issues... In the end it could have been even better.

Goddesses be h3rNow all that's left is to find that hacked, non-bugged save file!

Apparently this "hacked" save file was done with a tool such as Gameshark, Code Breaker or Action Replay. So instead of searching directly for the save file, one can search for the code that created it instead.
If anyone finds out anything, please let me know.
Also, if anyone here knows any good or decent hacking community that specializes in finding out cheats to be used with the aforementioned tools (Gameshark etc.), please let me know.

Give Codemasters Project a shot. I believe they have a request forum, although it may not get done. Chest Device doesn't really matter, all codes are the same, just encrypted differently, there are plenty of conversion tools floating around.

Are either of you running NoScript or AdBlock Plus -- or some equivalent? A lot of us here browse in safety with those. It's more than likely that your issues are with the advertisements. I'm unable to determine the origin of a potential Malware hazard, or if there is one here. It's probably not from the topic or the posts themselves.

Definitely not related to the links posted in the whole of ALoY, at least.
Best I have seen was, about 1 year ago, when I entered ALoY using Google Chrome, I got a warning about how "this page has been reported as a page that contains some type of malware". Not very convincing. I'm assuming anyone could report any page for anything. Regarlessly, back then I ignored the warning. Nothing happened ever since. I ran malware checks with antiviruses ever since, as well: nothing.
Also: nooooo, why use this fabulous thread for that? ; ;
