The videos for Brandish: The Dark Revenant really got me curious about the Brandish series, so I decided to download the first SNES game to see what it's like. Seems kind of fun, although the controls felt really awkward on a keyboard; I assume that's not much of an issue when playing on an actual SNES...? If so, I think I'll buy it pretty soon here.
I really enjoyed the SNES versions, both 1 and 2. Number 1 is the one that made me fall in luv with the series. If you can, try to get umber 2 and3 for the PC engine, truly beautiful and the OST is one of the best. Altho my number 3 dont work for some reason (the game starts with the music playing but the screen is all black).
Ahem anywhos, the remake of Brandish one is superb,but I still like the feel of the snes version because everything was so much bigger then Ares(like the ruins) but in the PSP version he seems too big, minor detail I know ^_^
