Okies, so I have to upgrade to the latest firmware right. My brother is almost here ^_^. Plus, Im currently using my friends UMD, he said he will make it so that I can play without the UMD and brother said he could do that too when he gets back. Maybe then it will run smoothly 0_0???

More bugs! The music likes to either get completely silent, or just start stuttering. Ch-ch-ch-ch-ch-ch... Like when a computer dies in the middle of playing some sound. It's better than a crash though, as switching to classic mode will make the music work again. And it's so slow compared to the original. Brandish is supposed to be super fast. This most certainly is not. To be more specific, all other Brandish games had a speed setting, of four different speeds. I always play it on max speed. I wonder why they excluded that one in this game. Or is it there, did I just miss it? But it is still better than I had expected.

I can't wait to get the game. I hope I won't have any bugs though.

Of course I don't ! That's why I know I won't have bugs in fact. It's funny how people are going into problems and can't find the easiest solution. STOP USING CUSTOM FIRMWARES !!

Well I'm having a ton of fun, floor 7 already, 100%'ed all previous ones. It's a little slow, yes, and there's no speed option unfortunately. Somehow I'm fine with it, whereas I'm normally a very impatient gamer. No freezes or crashes for me at all. I didn't know there were going to be two soundtracks in the game!!! (Original and Arrange)

Dunno if Brandish actually has any bugs but I can tell you that custom firmware has nothing to do with the bug infestation in DJ Max Fever. :P (My point is that it's possible that CFW might not always be the problem. :E)

They also gave the choice of the soundtrack in Vantage Master Portable and Zwei!!. Nice idea indeed.

Anyway, when do you guys got the game exactly ? Saturday ?

I'm telling you Custom Firmware can't be the actual cause. Okies, so I have to upgrade to the latest firmware right. My brother is almost here ^_^. Plus, Im currently using my friends UMD, he said he will make it so that I can play without the UMD and brother said he could do that too when he gets back. Maybe then it will run smoothly 0_0??? You're using an UMD, and it's extremely likely your PSP is readied with the M33 Driver instead of UMD's. When Custom Firmware is installed, the default option is the M33 Driver, so people that don't know how to change that and try playing games on UMD can run into trouble like you're in now. The problem will likely be solved if you either: - Change M33 Driver to UMD Driver; - Play the game directly from the Memory Stick without involving UMDs in the process. Your brother seems to know how to do both, so I think he will eventually solve the issue for you. Also running the game from the Memory Stick cuts all the load time, especially if it's on a PSP Slim, (I played Ys VI PSP with 0 loading time. xD) so I find the latter option to be the best (which seems to be what your brother is planning too). EDIT: I'm just telling that some people should think before asking questions, especially when they do illegal stuff. While I am guilty of playing many (but not all! ) things illegally, I am mostly "promoting" the use Custom Firmware due to many of its advantages, and not for piracy. I know you aren't blaming anyone here, but I felt I shoud make my intention clear. Also it's obvious it isn't the case of lindaluv as well. Using Custom Firware gives many advantages: - No loading times; - If the optical UMD drive breaks, you don't have to buy a new PSP; - The optical UMD drive isn't worn out; - You can have an arsenal of games and can play any at any given time without having to change discs (so if you have an original disc you don't want to damage in the least, that also helps the case); - You can customize your PSP to a much farther extent; - Emulate many video games and run other special programs etc..

Using Custom Firware gives many advantages: - No loading times; I smell wyrdwad lurking about and that he will post about how official firmware offers the same benefit. Never thought of things this way before! ^^ These were my reasons for getting CFW. :B I do need to get around buying an 8 GB mem stick though. 4 GB does squat when you're dumping DJMax Portable games onto them until they're ripped. >_> Oh screw you, auto-correcting thing! "Fixing" G and B and sticking in a little i between them! >:(

Off: By the way, I was never able to find an official 8GB Memory Stick. =/ I wanted one to 100% fill with many animes, music and such, but I could never find one... Perhaps I'll have to do online shopping (so if you spot any of these for a fair, good price from a trsutworthy store, please, let me know).

They're not hard to come by on online stores like expensive Best Buy and stuff. ^^ I'm still waiting for price drops but I guess they won't happen until the 16 GB ones come out or something. I wonder if the PSP-1000 and 2000 have issues reading from an 8 GB stick though? :o

Nope, the 1000 and 2000 are fine with 8 GiB sticks. Your firmware needs to be updated past the dark ages, but that's about it. (: I speak from experience! -Tom I have at least 5.00 on both of mine. :P

Thanks Wyrdwad. These SanDisk ones are really good to go. I'll have to hold on my pocket for a while though. But now I have a place to look forward to. Thanks.

Wow, so my brother gave me the run down and it seems that the speed issue was due to outdated firmware, so he got me the 500 m33-6 series and its all good. Thxnx for the help guys, and I didn't know I could do soo much with the PSP, its AMAZINGGGGGGG.
PS... the Tower Arrange theme is like ... WOW.. my new favorite.

Thats so unfortunate, cuz I personally Luv this remake to death(too much of a fanboy). Hopefully you get that new screen. I had to tart over cuz the new firmware messedup my other save, and I must say, Flacom should have allowed us to set the speed like i the SNES version, cuz Ares moves too slow I think. Or is it cuz im used to having him move fast like before 0_0. But to those who have payed it, what do you think so far???
