And even still, I changed the background image but kept the icons. XD ... *wonders what Yuusha 30 themes would look like? D:*

Hm, I like the Ys SEVEN themes. By the way, I decided to keep these "temporary content", but it's kind of late now as I didn't save some of the previous ones... =/ *feels stupid* Does anyone have the following files? From 1st Ys I&II update: - wp01_l.jpg - wp01_m.jpg - wp01_s.jpg From 2nd Ys I&II update: - wp02_l.jpg - wp02_m.jpg - wp02_s.jpg - theme02_feena.ptf - wp02.jpg

Bah, I was hoping there'd be more to it. At least all the character art! Sticking to ye olde custom FFT/Okami themes.

Indeed, I also have high expectations for this port.
But I find it very difficult to make me like it more than I liked the Saturn, PS2 and TCD versions. xD Respectively, they're unbeatable in: - Graphics, animation and gameplay speedyness; - Gameplay; - Music, voices and sound effects.
But this port may just rank in 4th in my own rank.

The themes are actually growing upon me. :'D I think I'm actually getting fond of the blue one. Or maybe its just because its bluuuuuuuueee~~~~ But it doesn't look half bad. Especially when combined with custom Ys wallpapers. [Unrelated, but: I really wanted Lilia to pop up in Ys 7.... I wanted to see her drawn in this new style]By the way, this new kiddy art style for Chronicles is starting to grow upon me too. Its actually not bad? I mean, Reah looks incredibly nice in the recent stuffs! I don't know if I'm that excited enough to declare it to be the 'best version ever!' yet though. Complete wins that title for me, since its actually... understandable. Now if I could read Japanese or if there was ever any hope of it getting brought over...........

I don't even think it's on the site anymore. Might try these Ys themes though and see how I like them.

Thanks for the heads up, floofy! On the SEVEN side, I now have PSP wallpapers 1-4, the Adol theme and the Map theme. I also have wallpapers 1-3 on the Chronicles side, along with the Feena and Reah themes, and another theme which was kindof the same thing only more blank-ish? We should start archiving these.

Site updated, few new wallpapers and themes, as well as 'Shannoa' and 'Segram' villages - the former was ruled by the dragon of good harvests, the earth dragon, and the latter by the dragon of vitality, the fire dragon.
Shannoa kind of reminds me of the Rehda village in Ys 6, and Segram is the silent desert I guess? I like both of them anyway. Can't wait for the PC version.

Well....I don't quite like the new "character settings" ... Multiplatform as it is, PC appears to be later than PSP.That's awful>

Does this mean there are going to be 5 villages/towns? Seems like VII might be larger in scope than past games!

Face it wyrdy, you can't win everyone over into your magical world of PSP pixie dust! Some of us will forever want a nice high resolution and a proper pad.
Also I have no idea how I got 7/21 into that title. Fixed.

No update to the actual Ys 7 site, but they've announced a second version of Ys 7 in addition to the regular one. The limited edition one will contain a drama CD detailing the events between Ys 6 and 7.
Adol - Kusao Takeshi Dogi - Genda Tesshou also Ginga Banjou but I dunno who he's doing. Tera, Geis etc will also appear.
The cover illustration will be done by Enami Katsumi (who's been doing all the latest character art on the site). This limited edition will be sold for 7600 Yen (7980 inc. tax), as opposed to the 5800 Yen (6090 inc. tax) regular edition, and they'll both go on sale on the same day. The drama CD itself will be sold separately for 3000 Yen via chara-ani, ala the Sora no Kiseki ones.
...they're really enjoying these drama CDs lately. Oh well, guess I'll be buying this one.

Hm, interesting. However, I doubt I'd ever be able to understand any of the spoken content. And expecting a translation of a DRAMA CD sounds like a joke... 'v_v
And Drama CDs are like Ys I and Ys II: milking.
