OK I searched for a thread on this issue didnt see one so if I duplicate Im sorry!
I have Ys IV DoY and it for somereason does not play in my duo! Well it will but not much...The beginning cutscene starts and but no audio. When the screen changes to them getting to the harbor is when it goes black and does nothing. I had a redbook issue with the duo and fixed all that! I have tested with Lords of Thunder, Gate of Thunder, Bonk, and Ys I & II! They all work fine audio/video everything works! Ys IV is the only one I have issues with...Its an original copy and it works on my Turbografx-CD but I want it to work my duo...Mainly cause I might be selling my TG! I just did Region mod and put new laser and frankly have no use for it since I have a duo now. THIS IS SO FRUSTRATING! Has anyone ever had this issue? or know how to fix it?
Thanks to all who can help!

Hm, maybe it's not the case but, which HuCard are you using to run the CD games?
For Ys IV, an improved HuCard is required, called Super CD-ROMĀ² or something like that.

Sorry to be responding back to this message so late but the issue with the game not running was a capacitor I replace that was the wrong size. I put a 10uF in a place where a 22uF was supposed to go. End result was the capacitor was not large enough to allow the sound to work which in return was causing the game to freeze.
Thanks for the advice anyways....If anyone has an account to demonoid.com I have been adding games for the duo to download and burn for play on an emulator or actual system....If anyone is interested in a membership I think the registration is still open.

Demonoids registration is closed most of the time, but members can always get an invitation code to give to someone. If anyone needs one, let me know.

Thanks a lot, Wanderer! Curiously, though, there was someone already using my username, so I just added an extra "r" in the end.
