Okay so now we have something we can actually look at, I'm making this. The trains and tank designs definitely make me think Erebonia. As for the screenshot... no female protagonist this time? Aww. Also nice car.

The second character looks like a female to me. Anyway, can't wait for the game.

Of course, then I realized, 'that could be the Northern Barrier.' 'OH CRAP.' DDDD: Now you mention it... It would be pretty cool if we got to go there in this game, although I'm just hoping we do eventually. Would really like to explore everywhere that's been mentioned (Erebonia, Calvard, Northern Barrier, Crosbel, Alteria...) before the story's over. Actually Crosbel seems pretty likely in this one considering the Empire's stance on it. I think I need to reinstall 3rd and read through that star door again. 1st character does look kind of like Lechter. I'm pretty sure it's not Sid, anyway. Second still looks to be like Schera too, though it probably isn't. I can't think of any reason she'd have to be there. Third... little silver haired girl with a ribbon? Definitely new anyway. Fourth definitely looks new. Can't think of anyone with reddy hair who wears an orange coat in the series. Is it wrong I want this more than Ys 7 itself? Also, much as I'm disappointed it looks to be inevitably PSP, I'm pretty pleased with the artstyle. Looks like they've stuck with the Sora-style sprites and just made the backgrounds a bit more 3D (or is that just me?), which looks pretty nice.

That's no PSP screenshot. The aspect ratio is all wrong, and the level of detail seems a bit beyond what I'd expect from ANY PSP game, Falcom or otherwise. That looks like PC to me. -Tom Dammit wyrdy, I'd resigned myself grudgingly to the fact that it was probably going to be a PSP game. I'd come to terms with that. Now you've given me hope and I'm not sure what to do with it! I think the one thing making most people think PSP is the circle shadows, though I suppose they could've just not got round to putting the dynamic ones in yet. Or they're using those deliberately to increase the tease

Didn't the LoH6 games use circle shadows, too, outside of a few choice dungeon scenes? The PC versions? Nope, dynamic shadows all the way through.

Sigh that pic doesn't look like it comes from a PC... I really hope I'm wrong.
But I've learned not to cling onto false hopes. I'll see in September.

Trains are trendy now? :O
*wonders if one of the train carts will have a cannon on it like in the upcoming Zelda game. XD*

Looks like PC to me too. The thought that it could be for PSP didn't even cross my mind.
(Mind you though, I'm not very interested in this game since I have near to no japanese knowledge at all, but I felt I had to say that. xD)

Hope mode engaged! Now it's been pointed out that definitely is off. I am happy now. Oh so very happy. (Mind you though, I'm not very interested in this game since I have near to no japanese knowledge at all, but I felt I had to say that. xD) You will be when it's in English! Therefore, unless you are of the spoiler loving type like wyrdy, I humbly suggest you run away before you get beaten with them.

No, I also don't like spoilers for games and things I care (TYPE-MOON, Ys)... and well, I have been keeping my eyes on that LoH6 translation project too...
Anyway, *runs away before getting beaten with them*

Ooh. My hope meter has gone up a notch. Better keep it that way Anyway, like omgfloofy, I'm thinking the first guy might be Lechter, in fact I kinda hope he is. He's pretty cool. I kinda like the Klose X Lechter pairing... but that probably won't happen I guess.

Ooh. My hope meter has gone up a notch. Better keep it that way One more tidbit for the hope meter - I was wrong about Ys (forgot for a moment IV was console exclusive), but Legend of Heroes has ALWAYS been on the PC, and always on PC first before any console ports. I would expect this to land on PC and then PSP either at the same time or VERY shortly thereafter, like Sora no Kiseki TC. LoH is kind of the great big slow-moving mothership in Falcom's fleet. The traditional, turn-based, story-driven RPG, which has staunchly stuck to PC at first Yeah...I remember seeing a piece of news revealing that Ys seven(just named in this way) is to be first released on PSP station...Is that ture? Is the discussion about this topic?

When on sale ?Anyone knows? It hasn't been announced, and it isn't likely to be until September at the earliest. I'm inclined to believe it'll be released this december though.

Hhm...That's reasonable, accounting many great pieces hit shelves facing X'mas or the New Year. And I'm waiting for the news of the game REWRITE of "Key"~ ʧÀñ¤Ç¤¹¤¬¡¢¤¢¤ó¤¿¤ÏŒùɽ¤Ëס¤ó¤Ç¤¤¤Þ¤¹¤«£¿

Isn't Rewrite the game that Ryukishi and Key are working on together? That's such an awesome combination... I, too, am greatly looking forward to it. -Tom Yup. Writers are him and two other guys (one from Key, one other very famous one I doubt you've heard of), along with the usual music staff who worked on Air, Clannad etc, and their regular artist.

If the picture comes from a PSP section of the website, wouldn't be logical to postulate that LOH7 will be PSP only? PC games are not really marketable anymore..at least at this time where cost-cutting is imminent.
Anyway, I made a bet with my friend months ago that LOH7 is PSP only. Let's see if I'm right.
