... I wonder why I never was able to get into the games. =/ Most people praise them, and the main character even became an Assist Thophy in SSBB. I wonder if I should give them another try? Should I? Why do people like them?

Yes you should. Because if you can't enjoy them you are a mutant freak and I will be obligated to shun you. =[

The is the only thing from E3 that I'm excited for so far. There just aren't enough rpgs being announced.

Why do people like them? You should! Honestly, part of the reason I like them is that Camelot feel that's carried over from Shining Force 3. Other than that though my favourite bits are probably: - The puzzles. Yep, they can be pretty hard. You will have to use your brain on most of them. Which connects to... - The psynergy system. Still pretty unique as far as RPGs go, you can put this to all kinds of creative uses for solving the puzzles. - The djinn system and customisation - Every character had at least 20 or so different potential classes they could be depending on the djinn they were equipped with, all with their own spells and general proficiencies. Haven't played them since Lost Age game out... going to have to do a big replay this year.

My enjoyment of the first game was severely hampered by the fact I got it with an old (bulky) version of the GBA and could not see CRAP on the terribad LCD.
I do still have the game though. And a DS. >_> Perhaps a revisit is in order...

O__O Baby Isaac! ( Isaac and Felix's child!!!! :O) By the way, I actually played both the Golden Suns on me ancient GBA too! And.... loved it. :'D Because I was too cheap to go buy one of those shiny new lighted GBA SPs that came out soon after. (Behold the powers of stubborn miserly-ness~!) Unfortunately... both of me games refuse to save anymore. :( Dead battery? (Methinks I shall replay on me PSP!)

Wow.
Always did like that character art. Bearing in mind that these are descendants, I can't help but notice how very Garret and Isaac-like the two males are. The girl looks different! Maybe kinda like Sheba, if only for her hair color.
Here's to hoping for another cast of 8, though! Bring on more art!
