Welcome back, Justin!  Whew, you have NOT operated a computer until you've learned how to skip using a mouse altogether, hahaha! Trust me, it sucks. I'm job hunting, might work at a casino. I just need to find the time to plug in my resume, etc. I'll try to do that right now. Truth be told, I'm scared like hell because I'm either going to be a waiter (Oh... wait, can I do that? My hands aren't... you know, balanced... I'm a mighty clumsy guy, you know!) or a cashier (GAH!!! I remember getting distracted at Rite Aid and a customer ended up paying for the prior customer's goods... so nervous!) but I'm sure whatever happens it'll work out... somehow.  |

1 year, 8 months ~alone~
4 months ago, Sam died. I didn't find out until recently, I realize now that I shouldn't push people away, knowing now that I could regret it for the rest of my life. Sam believed in me, he knew I could do great things if I'd just push myself. He taught me not to give up, not to act like my life is over, when everyone else has to fight for theirs. Sam, you were a great guy, we'll miss you.

I've got to do whatever it takes to reunite my friendships and create new ones, work toward finding a new job, getting a car and my license (for real this time, I've actually finished the manual!), and completing my personal laundry-list of misc. goals. Sam believed in me, and I should believe in myself too.

And don't worry, I believe in you too. Sorry, I haven't written yet, but it costs the money to do so, and I'd have to get all the permission from my mom. She doesn't seem to understand exactly why I'd like to write to you, and takes it as a suspicious activity. But don't worry, I'll get at least one letter to you. You're still at the same address?

Hell yeah -- but don't worry if your mom doesn't want you writing. I don't want to get you in trouble. I know how it is for moms; mine's the same way. Moms are usually the best judge of character though, from what my experience has taught me.

None at all -- and yes, it will come in useful one day possibly, so it's always good to have that judgment even as a backup. I advise you not to ignore any possibilies, I know first hand what it's like to find out that people aren't who or what they say they are.

Oh yeah, welcome back Unsavory. So, I take it things are more or less like they were before? Anyway, I just hope everything is alright. By the way, if you ever decide to send away your CV/resume to get a job, I'm willing to take a look at it, so that I may be able to see if I have any suggestions to possibly make it even better, if at all possible. Well, just saying. xD |

Red, that's awesome, I could definitely use your help with this; specifically, employment gaps and "reason for leaving" for one employer are particular concerns of mine.
