Having Trouble watching the Videos

So i start up the game and i don't see anything but a black screen. Then i start to hear all the Music and Sounds of whatever is going on. After starting a new game and just listening to whatever was going on, i am then able to see my character lying on the ground in front of some tree.

I'm running Windows Vista 64 Bit if that makes a difference. I don't have the Vista Patch installed because when i tried it it gave me an error and then the game wouldnt start

Well...it seems a codec error.
do you have Klite codec or similar installed?
If it is so... this may be the effect of fddshow.
so just go to fddshow control panel and put Ys origin main executable in the exception list.

How do i get the fddshow control panel and do that?

Ok i figured out how to add it to the Exception list, but the videos still wont show. I don't think it matters now anyways. I'm up to the water tower.
