Hello everybody. I was thinking about preordering Ys I&II Chronicles for PC, and started to wonder if the existing patches for Ys I&II Eternal Complete could be somehow adapted for this new version since there seems to be no new dialogue or extra content (apart from the Chronicles soundtrack and the new portraits) compared to the Eternal Complete that we know. So, it is most likely the same game in a new box. Is there any plan on it? Would it be difficult?

That's weird... I thought they released Eternal I and II separately, then together as I&II Eternal and then Eternal Complete again. My mistake then :/

Lol, Ys I&II Eternal Complete Chronicles. xD
When they release Ys I/II Forever or something: Ys I&II Eternal Complete Chronicles Forever
etc.

Wait Wyrd, I don't think Ys I COMPLETE and Ys II COMPLETE ever were released separately. Well, were they? o_รต You sure?
Actually, the best I can think of is that both games were indeed released separately not too long ago, for that online store where you solely buy both games in their digital forms separately, hosted by Falcom IIRC.

It doesn't hurt to try to use the Completes translation patches. I would if I ordered the PC version. Worse case scenerio is that you have to uninstall and delete the whole Chronicles folder and reinstall it again. Only problem I can foresee is the added options.

Nothing bad would come of it, most likely. It's just that it's 100% guaranteed to be a waste of time, because it's not the same game as Complete. At least not in a technical sense, because it uses new coding and... you know, all that complicated stuff I don't know what's really called.

IT all depends if the dialogue files in chronicles are the same in complete.
