This thread is an idea I just had, and since this board is chaotic, I'm going for it! Every Monday and Wednesday I have an evening class, from like 5-6 (and I try to take a nap before it, lol). So what I'll do is around lunchtime or so on those days, I'll put choose a game at random (sometimes from backloggery, sometimes from the internet, sometimes from my head) for everyone to discuss, and when I get back from class, I'll see what everyone says and add my own ideas. Ready? Here we go.
MONDAY - 2/8 Today's game is: Mario & Luigi - Bowser's Inside Story
Go forth and discuss!!!

Must not be the best time of the day, lol. Well, for the record, I thought that game was fantastic...although I still need to actually get around to beating it, lol. I have a bad habit of falling asleep playing games...and it makes things difficult since I tend to play handhelds in bed...I'm not Bowser, because Bowser GETS THINGS DONE!

Well let's try to repair that bad 'day' of yours so... the game is mario & luigi bowser's inside story... i haven't played yet, but i remember when i used to play super star saga dammit that game was so vicious i barely remember that i passed days getting stuff to sell it and get badges or beans i don't know. The thing is, if this new ds game is improved since the playability of M&LSSS and M&LPiT it has to be an excelent RPG game, i mean this kind of RPG's are fun and everyone can play them and i especially love them for the innocent humoristic themes. A good game after all.

I see ^^ Well like I said, I chose this completely at random, so yeah...maybe the next one will be for a different system, lol. But yeah, compared to the other Mario and Luigi games in the series, this one is fantastic. It's really worth playing if you ever get a chance to get "stuck" playing the DS, lol. That said...I DO need to actually finish that. And anyway, yeah, the DS is one of my favorite systems, although I understand if you don't like it.

Hahahaha that's one of the greatest ideas i've ever heard, falcom releasing a handheld, if that happens i'll be sure of one thing most of the japanese people will be buying it, and people who loves their creations too, anyways im new here and i don't see you like someone who "hates" the DS i mean is a good thing and everyone here is suposed to have right to express what they feel about whatever, and more important there's no person with rights to blame to other one with an arguement or idea, or something based about themselves. is almost a rule, first you need a fact, and later you can throw whatever you want. Ehmmm i left the main idea... yeah i love both systems... DS and PSP see ya! Mmm damn that wasn't the main idea either... I think that all mario RPG's are funny and in a way vicious... but in occasions are like... limited. !YAY i took back the main idea¡

I haven't played Bowser's Inside Story yet... It looks fun, but my backlog is reaching levels of absurdity, so I won't be playing it for a while. Superstar Saga was a blast, though, and Partners in Time wasn't bad either. (Plus, the general concept of it seems like a pretty amusing idea for a game, and some people I know have recommended it pretty highly.) The people who do the localizations for those games are pretty awesome (judging by their work, at least).
I used to do most of my gaming while on the train on the way to and from school (since it tended to be hard to actually concentrate on studying there, it was a good excuse for gaming)... since I finished school, though, I've preferred gaming on my TV, sitting back and watching a decently-sized screen, to gaming on portables, sitting up and staring at a tiny screen. Portable gaming has its place, but the way my life is nowadays doesn't really leave much room for it.

Yeah, Nintendo/AlphaDream was very clever about all the different uses for Bowser and the inside sections of the game, so their choice for the english name was just as clever. All in all, it really turned out well...I had no plans of buying it, but I tried it a little when it first came out and was instantly hooked!
Funny story, for the first week I had to play it in my car because I had left my AC adapter at my friend's house an hour and a half away. So whenever the DS got low on power, I would get in my car, drive to an empty parking lot, play the game until it almost died, then plug it into my car charger and play Superstar Saga on my GBA SP until the DS was charged enough, lol! I AM SUCH A LOSER!!! I can't ever get my gender right and I play video games in my car in the cold so I can charge up other video games, lol.
Story of my life ^___^

Hey, you're just dedicated, that's all. LOL Yeah, except I never actually got around to beating the game...I'm not so much dedicated as I am enthusiastically scatterbrained, lol. "THIS GAME IS AWESOM-I'm gonna go play something else now..."

Well, I'm a few days late to reply but I must say that from what I played of the Japanese version, I love Bowser's Inside Story lots.
I bought the English release when my boyfriend came to visit last September and he played it like crazy (that and Scribblenauts) and eventually brought it home with him. ^^;
Sigh. He got frustrated at some of the boss battles!! :( But you know, I can't remember if he ever finished it. :o
