Actually, considering what I've heard about the series, I'm quite surprised to see a sweet Yakra buying it. Naughty Yakra!

I actually would have never noticed the M rating had ye all not pointed it out. X'D Maybe it got that rating for... there was some sequence now in which the heroines change costumes mid battle, ne...? (Or do I have that wrong? :'D) Or maybe just TOO many innuendos this time. :'D Actually, considering what I've heard about the series, I'm quite surprised to see a sweet Yakra buying it. Naughty Yakra! Ye know..... it's actually one of me favourite series! X'''''D *stabbed* It has one of the loveliest musics that I've ever heard, a super nice (cute!) world, and pretty okie storylines (the characters are what made one love it!). X'D I guess it also helps that I'm the densest person on earth and wouldn't know an innuendo even if it came and whacked me on the head. X'D Also.... is it just me, or is Hell Cow kind of cute? :'D He/she/it could actually... star on the cover of some hell brand cheese?

One of my friends tells me that despite the horrible battle system and insane amounts of innuendo, the characters, music, and plot are great enough to make up for it.

Hell Cow is a cow that was sucked dry (of blood) by Dracula, buried, and resurrected with vampiric powers. Her milk may or may not be pink and grant immortality. Also, she has a cape.
Let's just say that this comic is pretty damn amazing.

AT3 is rated M because apparently 3d makes things too real.
I also really enjoy the series. What got me into it was the history behind the hymnos language and the wonderful music the series has.

Pretty sure this is just about everything since the last time I graced this thread with a photo from yours truly. Lots of neat stuff to be had: Eva 2.22 ($10 Amazon? Really? lolok, your loss) 'Couple Koge-Donbo mangos, 'cause I love her cute art so very much. Kuro-gane bought with store credit from a bookstore - way good. Probably my favorite (and the only) samurai manga I've legit enjoyed. I gotta track down the other 2 and keep an eye on the artist. I really love his style. Tales From Earthsea. Miyazaki Jr.'s directorial debut. Not nearly as bad as everyone says, but there are definitely plot holes where you're left going "Wait, where did that come from?" Blaze Union - not as good as Yggdra ('sup mission based plot progression) Tactics Ogre - went the wayside to Kitn, BU and now TitS, but I really want to get back to it 'cause it's pretty solid. Knights in the Nightmare - Oh my god this game. So good! :0 And, last but not least - the magical Trails in the Sky. I'm so completely elated right now, you have no idea how much I wanted this. FFFFFFFFFFFF.

Great purchases man! Did you notice Falcom legend Tamiya Terashima composed the music for the Earthsea film? I'm eager to hear the soundtrack in particular.

I didn't, but I did notice that the soundtrack was superb. Not that I don't like Hisaishi any, but his music never really stood out as something I'd like out of context. Earthsea's score, though; oozing of Celtic-y goodness. I loved it.

Ack, they never played Rebuild 2 over in the theaters over here! What a bingbang, that's not good. Totally basic...

I thought the same about Earthsea - no where near as bad as people made it out to be, although I need to watch it (and Howl's Moving Castle) again as I've only seen it the once.

This was an important part of my childhood. We watched it every Saturday for years. The DVDs include the U.S. Acres episodes, which are just plain awesome. Frank Welker does a lot of the voice work, and his range in this series in particular is astonishing. DVD sets can be expensive, so when I saw these discounted at Best Buy, I had to get them.

Coolness! Was it dubbed in Finnish, or subtitled? I'm sorry if that's a weird question, I noticed in Stockholm that scrubs had Swedish subtitles.

I hear you! Back when there were cartoons to watch on Saturday mornings.. Heck, I remember when Garfield and Friends was paired along with Hey Vern, It's Ernest! (almost typoed It's Ernst!). If prompted, I may still be able to recite the lyrics to the original opening... It was subtitled. Good thing too, because I really like the English voice of Garfield (Peter Venkman ). Bill Murray played Peter Venkman in the Ghostbusters movies. Lorenzo Music voiced Peter Venkman in The Real Ghostbusters. Lorenzo Music voiced Garfield in all cartoon appearances. Bill Murray voiced Garfield in the CG movies. ..so the circle is complete, but to quote Zombieland "Do you have any regrets?" "Maybe Garfield..."
