Some people don't trust airmail, but I have received hundreds of packages sent via that, and not a single one has gotten damaged.

How can your airmail be so perfect and EMS so horrid!? I'm all for tracking and will take EMS over regular ground or airmail any day -- especially as long as my dumbass neighbour still resides in the house next door! >:(

I got it.... I got Dragon Slayer for Turbo Duo in English. I went to my local 'classic' video game store and they had it stashed in a file cabinet. They didn't think anyone would want it!!!! So I am going to start playing this ASAP. Wyrdwad, when I am done Ill send it to you to borrow if you want. It even came with the map!!! I still can't belive that this was just sitting down the street from me, and all this time I never though I would find it. I also grabbed a mint Grandia 2 (Dreamcast) with the OST disk 2, and a perfect copy of Faxanadu. <--------I hear this is a Falcom game? ?

Hmm... I see shipping is free if I pick airmail and have an order below 100$ with play-asia... My only issue is the entire Pakistan Post people act like nunuu's neighbour at times and run off with one's posts. Atleast I'm assuming that is what nunuu's neighbour does? :'D A question though, when you guys order from airmail, do the people stick the bill/cost of parcel on top of the package still? Because if so, I think the customs will catch it again. -___-' (Curse this greedy government! 53% tax?! DX ) Grandia II! Lucky! I've wanted that game forever (for PS2 that is) and I just can't seem to get my hands on a working copy of it!

Yeah, EMS is an absolute disaster here too. Using it you always get customs charges if you're technically eligible for them (plus exorbitant handling fees), and have to go out your way to pay and collect the parcel, it's notably more expensive, barely any faster, and last time I got a parcel via EMS they managed to lose it for a week and a half to top it all off. Terrible.

Grandia II! Lucky! I've wanted that game forever (for PS2 that is) and I just can't seem to get my hands on a working copy of it! I think I still see that around in stores (used, of course). I can look for it for you if ya wants! Oh good grief. I just did a look-up of video formats around the world, and you guys use PAL!? >:( Well, scratch the Grandia II PS2 hunt then (unless you have a converter? :O)! But, if you don't mind having Grandia II for the sake of having the game just because, then have my Saturn Special Edition version of the game! XP And my neighbour doesn't go anywhere with the package. Instead, he/she/it just has it sit there in the house. I ... don't understand the logic of these people. Like is it that hard to walk a few feet and drop if on our doorstep/in the mailbox? I actually never got my certificate for my First Aid training and I sort of suspect it's sitting there somewhere in the house too. 9__9 If doing horrible things to stupid people wasn't a crime, then I'd be doing horrible things to them right now.

Grandia II for PS2 is available in PAL regions.
And just for the record, the majority of PAL TVs are capable of handling an NTSC signal. So if Yakra has a modded PS2 (which I assume), she'll be able to play Grandia II NTSC on it.

nunuu: Thanks a lot for even considering looking! I really, really appreciate it! Nah, I'd actually wanted the PS2 version, for playing rather than mere collection's sake (since I don't own a Sega Saturn)! But... er... after reading yours and FM-77's posts (and getting inspired off Justinzero's!) I decided to give that old ratty non-working copy a try and 're-make' myself a new one. :'D It's working! I think I would like to grab an actual copy one day though. Yip, I can play both PAL and NTSC by the way. Aside from the fact that I have PS2s from both regions, they both are modded. X'D (Unmodded? Unthinkable!)

Sucks that it doesn't work the other way around (or does it with the newer TVs?).

I mean, our TV's from the Ancient times? :-/ !? Well! Shows you how much I know about PAL! Actually, I don't know about much television stuff at all regardless of the format. :P All I know is that Konami Europe was neat enough to include NTSC compatibility in their release of The Sword of Etheria. 'Course, I'd play the Japanese version over the English/multi-lingual version any day!

No, NTSC TVs cannot handle PAL-50 signals. Possibly PAL-60 though. At least some of them.
All LCD/plasma TVs can handle both PAL and NTSC though. Regardless of region. Because such TVs ignore frame rates, as they don't work the same way as a CRT TV.

I got Metal Gear Solid 3:Subsistance and Street Fighter Collection for PS2 today...... this is the only pic I have of them. I had to reorganize everything today, because I got a new book shelf.

To this day, I still frown at the idea of "Fololo" and "Falala"... I prefer the original names.

Tis' true, but at least Lololo and Lalala stayed as close to the originals as possible; aside from the animated creatures, that is. Why in HELL do Fololo and Falala fly? That defeats the purpose of their Lolo and Lala counterparts! I never tried the PC ports, but they look terrible. I love the NES games, although some puzzles seem rather impossible. My least favorite from the first is the one with the medusa in the center, and all of the snakes and boxes you have to move to collect the card thingies. X)
I really like Boxxle, Sokoban and simialar titles too.

Ah! MSX carts are great! I had no idea HAL made a game (games?) for it. I've recently had a bunch of Saturn games turn up, and I have Langrisser Tribute in the post - now I just need to find the time to play them

That's what made me buy it! Not had a chance to check it out yet, and the box and artbook don't help any either I'll let you know when I pop it in, and maybe post a few small screenshots if anyone would like to see?

Yumimi Mix sux. It's a digital comic. I have tried the Mega-CD game. I did it in my MCD madness time... it was a terrible time, as all the MCD games are garbage.
