i guess i bought kane & lynch 2: dog days
i'm pretty much going to get rid of all of the games i own and just keep the things i really care about. re-contextualize the collection, y'dig?
it sucks b/c i don't have any contemporary consoles right now and my pc can do diddly (it can run dog days but it looks like an n64 game, hahaha. still it is a fab game!) and but i want to play the zone of the enders hd collection and the zen pinball stuff and sonic generations but that's mostly it, so it isn't a giant loss.
plus they don't have the chic that old consoles and games do. i know that makes me sound like a shallow fellow, but allow me to let you know i do enjoy vintage video games on a functional and aesthetic level both within the software and with regards to the hardware. just feels good to slide in a hu-card or pop in a cartridge and admire the sturdy plastic. also feels good to play the games, definitely.
is Justin visiting at all? that guy is all but disappeared now, it seems.

I've been dying to play Yoshi's Island with my son for ages but my PAL version is too expensive (and precious: my brother and I have been playing that same cart since it came out!) for him to really use, so I was very happy to find this Japanese one  That's super-cute that you're exposing your son to foreign media from such a young age, since we get precious little as English native speakers in a country like the UK. ^^ Do you speak to him in your foreign languages at all? |

Only a little, just the odd word or two. I do want him to be comfortable with other languages but at the same time he'll be starting school at the end of the year and I don't want him to be the kid that keeps getting corrected for using "wrong" (read: foreign) words.

At last!   Now I just need the Taiwanese release of Fantasia Sango 3 (easy) and the Korean release of Fantasia Sango 1 (nigh on impossible) and I've got the lot! |

Congrats on getting that Kimimi! I see Ryudo got Rules Galaxy! Mutagene I never played F-Zero GX, but I'm a big fan of the series. My stuff from Surugaya-a-too arrived:  Ys VI Melodious of Olha.
