Good choice on Onimusha 2, Ryudo. That's my personal favorite entry in the series.

I bought the XBLA HD rerelease and still haven't even played it!
Also random KoF XI tidbit: The US (dunno about EU) version does not support progressive scan.... while the Japanese version does!

Very nice. I have wanted to try out Beyond Good & Evil for some time now. You really should. It's one of my all time favorite games I've ever played. I own every version of it so if you want to borrow it sometime I'd be happy to lend it. : ) The characters, story, game play and soundtrack are all top notch. Ideally the version you would want to get is the HD version on either PS3 or 360 since it just makes the game more vibrant! -Thomas

I got it back in 2003 and just could not wrap my head around it. The characters felt rather shallow, and there was nothing compelling in the world design or gameplay. Still, a bunch of people clearly love it.

Here are my purchases from about the last 2 months. New resolution: No more buying video games until I finish the ones I have.

Got my US copy of Xenoblade. The artbook is very nice. High quality printing and on cardstock.

It finally arrived! One of the last copies still available of Goonies r' Good Enough for the MSX/MSX2/turboR. Different versions of the game exist depending on the type of MSX you play it on, with the most graphical and sound bonuses being unlocked when playing on a turbo R. It's a fantastic game that significantly follows the flow of the different scenes of the movie. While it is a tribute to the original Konami version, it's also very different, allowing you to play as each of the Goonies instead of just Mikey and the relationships for how you use the characters can add to the strategy of the game. It's very well done, probably one of the finest Fan-made MSX games ever made and one of the few released on cartridge that has a built in SCC Sound Chip. I decided to put it next to a few other items I had recently ordered as well since I've been in Goonies mode ever since I played through the game. A replica of the Map from the film, the Coper Bones Skeleton Key, the pirate Gold Doubloon and a Goonies T-Shirt. Kickass! : ) -Thomas
