New wares. The best PS3 game ever and the best PS2 game ever, respectively. The thought that some of my money now is in EA's hands makes me sad.

I hated Radiata Stories, and I have no idea why I actually kept playing it - but after six hours of "gameplay" (80% of that consisted of cutscenes) it got really awesome. Definitely one of my favorite "games" (again, it's so cutscene-heavy it's crazy - it can barely be called a game, haha!). It's also one of the very few RPGs that I have played to the end.
The negative aspects are that he battle system is ridiculously repetitive and mindless (by the end of the game I just dropped the controller when a battle started and let the other characters in my group kill the enemies by themselves) and that the soundtrack pretty much blows. Some nice songs, but they are very few. Oh right, you cannot turn of the battle noises either, the characters make really annoying sounds, and the same ones all the time...so I usually just muted the tv whenever a battle started.
Another Tri-ace game I really really liked was Star Ocean Till the End of Time. Again, a very cutscene-heavy game, but far more serious than Radiata Stories. I liked this too, a lot. But I got tired of it - it was too repetitive (unlike Radiata!!).
I have tried some other Tri-Ace games, namely Star Ocean 1 and 2... but aside from being extremely impressive technically (in the case of SO1), neither of them caught my interest. I think they need to be in 3d or something.

I keep forgetting about this thread. I have bought things since my last post, but whatever. Today I got this: I think I have about 15 Game Gear games now... I keep buying them and I don't even have a Game Gear! There's still well over 20 games that I intend to - and WILL - get because they are or seem awesome. Man, Game Gear is like the coolest thing ever. I wish I had one, but I will NOT buy one. Or maybe I will... in a pretty distant future. Damn it though, I am running out of space for my treasured (= old) games. And selling some is NOT an option. No way I'm letting these puppies get near my crap games shelf (PS2, GC, PC, etc...all those newish systems with ugly DVD cases). Hmhmhmhm I need a bigger book (or rather: games) shelf. Old games forever!

I have played Sonic Chaos ...... but I don't remember for what system (MS or GG). Not sure if an MS version even exists. Either way... I liked it. Not at first, but it grew on me. It's the only Sonic game that I have played to the end. Although, the only other Sonic games that I have played are Sonic 1-2 for MD.

If Sega was smart, they would make a new Sonic game in 2.5D going back to the roots of those fine genesis games. ahhhhhhhh......Sonic the Hedgehog 2.........good times!

Yeah, Sonic 1-2 MD are definitely better than this GG game, but I have never completed them because I think they are really hard. Probably just me sucking though. Sonic 2, I play it on a regular basis. Great game.

This is hilarious in a really really sad way... this small thread has two entries where two different people bought one of the worst games in the world... Steambot Chronicles. I sure as hell hope we are the ONLY two people on this board that has bought it.

Coolness MP83! Broken Flowers is a really good movie especially, and I haven't seen Macgyver in ages. I bought this book last week. I knew nothing about it, just that the cover looked cool, and there were two more parts to it. THIS RULES! I'm not kidding, I finished the entire book today, all 375 pages. I need the second part NOW. The good news is that a new book in the series is coming out in May. I haven't read a novel in so long, I think the last one I read was either Gone With the Wind or Animal Farm about ten years ago. I was completely hooked.

Yeah, that book does look awesome...
but hey, I'm judging a book by it's cover (and title), even if it is positive.

Damn dude! I hated Lost in Translation as well! A LOT!! And I generally really like Bill Murray. He was the ONLY reason that I watched it. Aside from that, it was probably the worst movie that I have ever actually watched to the end. MAN it sucked!!

I want that game, especially after getting the soundtrack. I hope it's as good as the music. Just got these today: Percy Jackson Book Three (extreme addiction to this series)

Pointless post~! Oh. Well. I'd show my latest purchase but it'll just be pics of groceries. :P But let me go back a few weeks! There was this and these. I have some more manga volumes and FFIV DS incoming so maybe I'll take photos of those once they arrive. :B

After passing that up the first time I saw it, I went back to the game store and they were all gone. I bought the new Justice League animated movie "The New Frontier".
