No, I'm pretty sure you're correct. I think that was unique to the PS2 version, though. I could swear it's in Ys II Eternal/Complete as well. o.o~ Too lazy to Google or check the visual book to verify.

Well, I know the PS2 version had the dreamworld thing, though, I don't recall what it was. But I know that was exclusive. Is it only the PS2 version then that has names in general for the monsters? I know the monsters a listed by what type they are, but, it does seem like in general they also had individual names in the other versions. Maybe I'm smoking crack, so forgive me, & I also am too lazy to go around googling things As for an unreasonable request? Bah! Have at you, knave! This is Falcom, attention to detail is their name! They'd flip over backwards to add even more detail into such a classic game! Naw, you're right, but it was just one of those little details that I recall blowing me away when I first experienced it!

According to Red Hairdo, the PS2 version also has special effects for the various swords, such as Ys I's Long Sword occasionally doing critical damage to enemies (even most bosses).

(Especially in regards to Dogi, whose lines are absolute works of art virtually across the board!) I am ecstatic.

Hey Tom, my apologies if this has been asked before. I was thinking of pre-ordering the XSEED release of Oath in Felghana this evening from Amazon, though I wasn't sure if there is to be a Premium Edition release of this and/or with Ys I & II Chronicles and I wanted to ask you if that was the case or not.

So not only are the spines of the actual game cases going to line up, but the Limited Edition boxes too? Very, very nice.
