What am I doing: I have an event scheduled (roughly) in early November. I will be setting up a table there where I plan to buy and sell games. I will be putting up a quarter of my own personal collection (mostly doubles and triples of what I have), plus whatever I can buy over the next few months. I am aiming to have at least 500 titles in time for this. So, to keep it honest and blunt, I am looking for titles.
What am I looking for: Stuff that has uncommon to find in stores. My general focus is on 6th generation systems (Gamecube, PS2, XBox) and older. I know around here, if it is not the latest, it is not found as most used game stores have long-since disappeared, leaving a real vacuum for such a thing, and most of those stores died due to not having what people were looking for (As in they had a lot of sports games and not much else).
Does the battery-backup have to be working in an older cartridge game?: No. Part of my services including changing and replacing them.
Does the older cartridge have to be working?: Depends (though I expect to get it for cheap since you cannot play it anyway ). Sometimes the circuit board along the bottom where it connects to the system gets so badly worn (Like I have seen happen a couple times) that the game is simple no longer readable. I can do a transplant and save the game inside.
What am I not looking for: Sports Games, especially national league-based ones. (So no NHL, NBA, etc.) Typically, those games are always the easiest to find at stores and the most difficult to move. Even with my careful attempts to avoid them, I still have a couple I will try to get rid of at dirty discount prices.
If you would prefer not to discuss this on the forum directly, feel free to PM me about it and we can discuss things there.
