It is so not a 22 hour drive.
Since, on a good day you can get to Toronto from Ottawa in like 6-10 hours, and you can get to Thunder Bay in a similar amount of time.
Okay, nvm, yeah 22 hour drive.
(I dunno how we managed getting to Toronto in 6 hours on the way there, the way back took like 11! Although we did leave from Belleville/Trenton...)

But true! Kenora is imaginary! You are imaginary! it's like a 22 hour drive from Toronto to Thunder Bay... so, yea, Kenora... add a few more hours! What's in Kenora anyway? Lots of snow... I love snow! ;D I suppose I'm more American since I live close to the border. ::) The imaginary city Kenora is roughly 6 hours from Thunder Bay and 2 hours from Winnipeg. The reason why Kenora is unheard of is because of its peacefulness, unlike places like Toronto or Winnipeg always making headlines because of crimes and such. Anyway, I love snow too :D

lol, oh yes... peacefulness... I'm waiting for ski season!!!! But you know, when you turn on the weather network, Kenora is ALWAYS on their weather map! lol
Daft, to get to Thunder Bay, you need to drive AROUND the Great Lakes... I had a friend that went to university in Thunder Bay (Nippissing?) and it was a 22 hour drive.
No, Ottawa on the other hand is just 6 hours on 401... providing no idiots decided to crash their car.

Hmm, fair enough. I recall going to Thunder Bay on my way to Sudbury, I think it's like an 8-10 hour drive.
Toronto is a cool place, I don't think I could live there though. But the buildings changing angles as you drive is beautiful, really metropolitan.

I personally dislike Thunder Bay... Toronto on the other hand, is the city of dreams. I've only been there a few times and even made it into the CN Tower once. I'm more accustomed to Hamilton. But this topic is going way off topic lol New Game+ adds a lot of replay value to the game making a second play through on the other difficulties a breeze if you're over leveled. Ahem, diddo

Toronto is nothing special ... well, other than frustrating drivers with super traffic congestion and one-way signs everywhere but I guess that's kind of typical for a metropolois.
I usually go there by subway though and with the media sensationalizing crime in the city, I sometimes get nervous when waiting for and while on the subway car.
It also makes me think how I shouldn't take out any of my handheld consoles in case some thugs come and steal it and all. :\
I'm sure it's not THAT bad since you don't hear about subway, mall, or street muggings and such that much. It's usually gun fights, breaking and entering into homes, and women getting raped that makes the headlines for crime around Toronto and the GTA. :P
Speaking about which, I'll be heading down to the Final Fantasy concert on the 27th. However, I do believe I will be with friends so it shall be strength in numbers!!

You ever watch that movie Kick-Ass? makes me wonder about how people would react to crime in public. I can understand how people would ignore someone in need simply because they do not wish to get involved or endanger their own lives. If I was in a situation where I could do something to help a person in need, but at the same time realize my own life is on the line and I'm about to risk it for someone I don't know... I honestly don't know how I would react. Kick-Ass is a kick ass movie by the way Hit Girl stole the show and Big Daddy is just too cool.

it's not as bad but you only know the bad stuff on the news.
people stealing devices are rare but it does happen.

I'm hoping to be able to go, but they're coming to Ottawa so I'll probably just see them here, unless they cancel or something.
I was gonna see Distant Worlds in Toronto, that obviously didn't work out.
(people always criticize my pronounciation of Toronto. I say it almost like "Tuhrawnuh". People criticize my pronounciation for a lot of things, though... haha)

I haven't attended any major events, simply because I'm too isolated. I will always be a small town guy.

people out of town/province/canada says "tor-ron-toe" but people say "trono" when they say it quickly...
you just go watch the NBA draft and hear David Stern say "the Tor-ron-toe Rap-tor select..." lol
I might actually go to the Hamilton Video Games Live show instead of the Toronto one if no one else goes. I have a friend that lives in Hamilton and will visit her there.

I tend to say Too-ron-toe. D:
Anyway, I was actually laughing when I read Video Games Live was going to be in places like the Community Auditorium in Thunder Bay or even a venue in Kitchener! Seems kind of strange!
However! It's great to see that they're not limiting themselves to the major cities!
I was thinking about going to VGL but I don't think any of my friends or friends' friends want to go again.
Honestly, I probably won't want to see it again until they completely change up the programme and give music from other series some love. Well, they can keep the Civilization IV medley because that was amazing. *_*
I wish I got to see Frank Klepacki live like some people in the US during one of the VGL concerts. He was there to perform Hell March, dammit!! >:/
All we got was the Halo creator? Music composer? d00de.
Was it Halo? I can't remember.

I went to the free concert on in Toronto few summers ago and then went to the Kitchener show (friends lived in Kitchener) unfortunately, i was a bit unimpressed at the Kitchener show cause it felt like the same show. HOWEVER, my friend who i think went to the shows in california told me that they have changed the music program. since it's been a few years, so, i'll be going to either Hamilton or Toronto show.

I don't know the rest. What happens exactly? You beat the game and it lets you save a NG+ file? Does it let you choose the difficulty level, or does it pick for you? Does it repeat the same difficulty level, or does it go for the next one up? Is there any misinformation on the first page?
