It's on PSP, and i don't have any PSP to play ! Now i have to wait again for the pc version, but can any body tell me when the pc version release ? I'm so impatient now !

No PC version has been announced, and as of a few months ago Falcom said they were not working on one. The game is supposedly going to be multiplatform this year, but we don't know that necessarily means a PC version.
That's all we know right now.

Ys Seven for the PS3 would be ridiculously cool. I would buy it again right away if that version got localized as well.

Agreed, Ys 7 would totally be a system seller for me.

Personally, I'm more interested in how they're going to change the story and associated elements than what system the next version of the game ultimately gets released on. Also, I'll be curious to see if the next version gets the roman numeral and subtitle treatment.

It's difficult to describe in mere human words how quickly and how many copies of a localized PS3 version I would buy.

I have a PS3 but not a gaming quality PC. I would buy this in a heartbeat. I would buy anything Ys Seven-related in a heartbeat because it is absolutely fantastic. Honestly Ys is one of the few game series left over from its era that genuinely gets better with every installment(barring a few hiccups), which I think is a great thing.

Varion and I've been predicting that Zero no Kiseki is the September release and Ys Seven PS3 is the December release this year. Is there any evidence of this or is it an educated guess? Anyway I would love to play Ys 7 on PS3.

So... the PC version will not be release. That's boring! I hope the simulator of psp will soon playable for Ys seven. Maybe that's the only way to play this game on PC without buying psp or ps3

Same here, except that there would be no 'accidentally' involved. If Falcom steps up and does this then they can go ahead and take my auditory virginity

Is there any evidence of this or is it an educated guess? Anyway I would love to play Ys 7 on PS3. There's no hard evidence, it's just an educated guess with bits of less reliable evidence. Here's what's led us to the conclusion though: 1. Falcom said Ys 7 would be going multiplatform this year. 2. The current Falcom director said they were considering other platforms in an interview with Dengeki Playstation. 3. Evidence supposedly found in the PhyreEngine developer list pinning Falcom as developing an 'Untitled PS3 Action RPG'. Nothing else on the developer list that's been posted is remotely surprising other than this one point. 4. Falcom say on Twitter that they are not currently at work on a PC version of the game mid this year. They pretty much ignore questions they're not sure of the answer to, so I think we can safely say at least this year's multiplat version will not be for PC. 5. The commitment to a multiplatform this year is reiterated in product descriptions of the upcoming Ys 7 Special Collection Book. 6. Falcom's usual yearly release pattern always has a Christmas game. With Zero no Kiseki down for the end of September, that only leaves the Christmas slot left. So, to keep to their word the multiplat version will be coming out in September. So, there's the bits of evidence. I think the December release date is pretty much confirmed (they have no other choice), but the platform is a bit more open. It can't be PC, and it can't be PSP. However, PhyreEngine is also available for the PSP. Which means Falcom can carry over many of their programming knowledge from the PSP onto the PS3, and the engine itself has been proving very good for niche developers on the PS3 like Gust and Compile Heart lately. Couple that with Falcom's entry being the only questionable one on the PhyreEngine list, them telling a Playstation-only magazine they're looking at other formats, the fact the PS3 is still selling very well in Japan indeed, and the fact that the 360 doesn't sell in Japan and the Wii usually has disappointing sales for third party software, and I think the likelihood it'll be a PS3 release first is pretty high. It's just speculation based on flimsy evidence in the end though, so take it with a lot of salt.

Does anyone know why all the companies compete with each other for the holiday rush? I would think smaller companies like Falcom would rather release their big ticket item at a different time of the year so as not to have to compete with the Halos and Marios of the gaming world.

This would be the best case scenario What if they just quickly port it to Wii though?

I'm pretty damn certain the announcement said that the next version of Seven wouldn't be a port and Falcom isn't exactly strapped for cash at the moment so I can't see them taking such a lazy (and probably unprofitable) way out. As for why December, everyone goes on spending sprees then. Isn't that what the holiday season is all about? Wait, you mean it's supposed to be a religious season and/or a time for familes to be together?! I imagine that even when competing with the huge companies Falcom would get better sales in December on their big projects than they would if they released in November ahead of the rush just because that's when everyone has the money to spare.

Yeah I don't even think my family will be seeing me at Xmas this year if Falcom releases a PS3 version of Ys Seven around that time I just hope they add in more extra content. The PSP version is still amazing but it was missing Boss Rush, Inferno mode or any sort of unlockables. Granted, I still played through it twice and am going to play the English version right away, so I guess the gameplay was incentive enough to come back to it, but it'd be nice to have something more for such an improved version of the game
