I don't agree, Adol. When it comes to horror, Silent Hill is the undisputyed champion. Resident Evil always tends to be more like a Action movie towards the end of the game, don't get me wrong however, I love the RE-games. They are great! But as I said, they loose their horror at the end and starts with pure action instead..

I like those games where you have to play for a short time and then a whole lot of action starts, Shenmue (SEGA Dream Cast). but that's just a difference in taste, but in the beginning RE is much better, I like the small passageways, where you don't see what's around the corner due to the camera view. that just makes it more creepy. and I'm fan since the first game on PSX, nothing like it was before it.
The Ancient Land of Ys is running trough my Blood....
When I was at Dreamhack, I got an hold of Silent Hill 2, 3 and 4: The Room. So far, I'm only playing Silent Hill 2. It's the story I've fallen most for in SH2 because he is looking after his dead wife. But damn! I H A T E those "patiens" who lurks under cars and crawls away F A S T.
Why I'm calling them for "Patiens"? Well, if you look on HOW they look likes, you see that their "arms" goes in front and togheter and then back, very similiar to a ehh... Whats the name of those now again... You know, kind of sweaters psychraticpatiens have. Well, they also ARE such. Alessa, the source of all evilness in Silent Hill was burned alive inside her home and fell into a koma after she'd "cut" her soul in two and thus ended up in a hospital for a LOOOOONG time. You know, lot's of Patiens
I can explain it all another day, but Silent Hill 2 is a great game!
