Over 8 hours in and currently getting raped in the east region of the Segram Desert.
Haven't even gotten to the shrine or temple or whatever.
Hate using Mustafa cuz he attacks SO DAMN SLOW. I only switch over to him to take on those annoying jumping enemies. Otherwise, it's Aisha~~~~~
Anyone know if it's possible to get back to Altago City after Mustafa joins? I wanna go back there for the Jar item (just 20,000 more gold XD!!) but don't want to waste time heading in that direction if I can't.
I know that Elk prevents you from heading back there when he becomes a part of the team.
.... I think I'm going to be over level 20 by the time I get into the place.

I completed the first 12 quests or so, now I'm heading to Ruins Isle (I think that's what they called it). I only have trouble on the bosses, I mow down the regular enemies with ease no matter where I am. Dogi and Adol are both too cool to take out of the party so they're permanent, I'll probably throw Aisha out at some point, though.

Tat turkey boss was a major bitch to try and beat.

Does anyone know how the Gavel of Souls works? Like, does its stats only rise if you kill while it's equipped, or do they grow even if you're not wearing it? And how high can the stat bonuses become?

Oh lulz.
Mustafa DOES prevent you from leaving the desert. I just spent oodles of time grinding to 48,000 gold only to realize I can't spend it on the item I want! Oh well, this just means I have enough money to buy new stuff and synth new things too!
Just need some more Large Bones and Hot something-or-rathers but I found some spots where I can farm those. :D
I think I'm going to return to Altago City as a super rich person after the Flame Shrine. ^^;
........
...............
Oh, damnation. XD I should have checked my items list. The damnable gloves only affects the person that wears it? I stuck the damn thing on Mustafa and I've been using Aisha about 90% of the time. XD I think that man hardly gets any kills. ^^;
Always feels kind of funny looking at my own guides and such and lord knows I'll be using it for the quests since I remember next to nothing. XD

At the very end of the game, just before the last boss I need to grind like 30 Holy and Spiritual waters and get like 300 Soul Stones. This is gonna take a while. Anyone have advice on grinding these bad boys?
To those who have beaten the game, any tips for the best accessories for each character?

I forgot to change my Accessories before the final boss. I had Adol with that one Accessory that displays enemies and items on the minimap. >.>
Also, to gather Soul Stones, I started at the final area of the last dungeon, then worked my way up, going to every gathering point along the way. When you reach the part that drains your HP, drop down into the nearest water hole, kill the giant fish, then gather from the point next to it. Teleport back to the end of the dungeon and repeat.

If you killed the cave troll before initiating the 7th quest it's missed for good. I did that on my first playthrough.
That accessory that gets stronger with kills doesn't need to be equipped. I almost never equip it till the end of the game when it's really powerful.

Oooooooh yeah. Still grinding and on level 19!
Almost have 50,000 gold and I still haven't entered the Flame Shrine! Level 19 for everyone~!
I swear, I'm gonna end up with 80 hours of gameplay like this. I do aim to finish this game before leaving for PAX though. :B (I'll probably bring it to play on the way there, at the con, and on the way back too.)
Then Birth by Sleep comes out ...

*Is ahead of Nunuu on his second playthrough?* Heck, comparing the gameplay hours, my first playthrough (er, Japanese version) was ahead of this! :P Yeah, I'll move on now. I wanna see just how much money I'll be bringing back to the city with me. Muhuhuhuhu.

Accessory question: Wearing the Luck Medal increases rare drops. But does it only affect the character wearing it, or does the effect spread to everyone in your current party?
In other words, should I only kill monsters with the character wearing the accessory to get more rare drops?
