Are you on the GameFAQs Ys SEVEN forum? I think your services would work better there since I see a lot of threads where people don't know where to go next in the game (as long as where to find certain materials). :3
I guess this is because that place doesn't have an awesome long Game Help thread like we do!

You should just petition the GameFAQs mods to sticky a topic saying "At the beginning talk to Tia, then leave the screen and return" and "Use the bell on the symbols in Altago Plains near Shannoa and the cave bypass to get around the blockade". That would solve, oh, 99% of the questions that seem to be floating around.

There are also a numbing amount of people getting stuck in the Holy Precinct of Wind so maybe something about that would help.

*puts baby powder in hair to make it nice and white*
*breaks out the cane and starts waving it*
Kids these days! They no longer have the patience to explore places and to try new things in games!
Everyone must be spoonfed the solution!
Might as well just include the damn walkthrough in a help screen!!!!

*throws cane away and shakes out the baby powder*
Oh hey, light puzzle issues in The Well of Souls. That's something that can be addressed in this thread. :P I put up the solution in the Where are you in the game? topic. But ... here it is!
1) The light from that pillar that's producing the light in the center of the room should point at the white crystal on the left side (between the blue and red ones).
2) Rotate white crystal so that the light beam hits the lone red crystal in the southwest room (with the one big blue monster).
3) Rotate red crystal to have the beam o' light hit the red crystal on the southeast room.
4) Rotate this last red crystal until the beam touches the one next to the southern red barrier.
5) ?
6) Profit!
Well, seriously, there be goodies beyond!!!

That's more an issue of skipping dialogue, I would think. They make it very clear what the bell's for... oh well!

If people are having this much trouble with Ys Seven, imagine how stuck they'll be with Ys I & II Chronicles... -Tom Bro thats because you need more than 29 hours to beat the game ..

Well, seriously, there be goodies beyond!!! first side : when you enter that room with the lights .. you will find a blue light with a laser coming out .. hit it until the laser points at a white light at the north Then hit the northern white until the west opens up second side : Go back to the white crystal and rotate it until the north side is open up third side : Go to the white light at the center. Have it face a light that is located at the southeast. Then get the red light to point at a white light at the west. Rotate that white light until the side open up forth side : Now go back to the white light at the center and rotate it until it points at the red light at the north. Now make that red light face the white crystal at the very west and make that light faces a red light at the very west side of the room ... Go to that red light and make it face a bit to the southwest. If angled correctly, it should face a red light south of the side that just opened Now rotate that red light until the side open up good luck with that two bosses after that puzzle

If people are having this much trouble with Ys Seven, imagine how stuck they'll be with Ys I & II Chronicles... -Tom Heh. Are there any real differences (like requirements) between Eternal and Complete/Chronicles for Ys I? I may have to update my Ys Eternal walkthrough until someone pumps out one for Chronicles and ... well, I have to edit the part about how to get into Darm Tower or else there'll be 23984729378 people saying they can't get in. :P I can sort of understand the first problem... but really? People have trouble with the bell too? That's more an issue of skipping dialogue, I would think. They make it very clear what the bell's for... oh well! I don't think it's the Bell itself but more like "WHERE DO I HAVE TO GO??? THERE ARE DRAGON KNIGHTS BLOCKING THE WAY. DURRR, WANDERING AIMLESSLY. AAAAAAAAAAAAAH." I swear to God, NO ONE likes to explore (for themselves) anymore. >_>

Um... they're not actually asking how to get past, they're talking about people who do. Posting the answer here is pointless. Also, this thread is a nice thought, but... Haha, old chap! okay this filter has been there long enough now, seriously

If people are having this much trouble with Ys Seven, imagine how stuck they'll be with Ys I & II Chronicles... -Tom I don't suppose you ever hung out at the Legacy of Ys board on Gamefaqs when that was out? There were a mind-numbing number of topics asking why they couldn't kill Dark Fact even though they were max level and had the best equipment... and they seemed to have a great deal of trouble figuring out that maybe, just maybe, there was a use for the Roda Seed and that it had something to do with this sword people were telling you about. Throw in the mirror mazes and you had enough headaches for one game. Then there was the flood of 'Where's the last priest statue', 'Waaaah, why can't I use magic', 'Why can't I hurt the first boss, this game is too hard', 'I'm stuck in Burnedbless' topics and so on. I shudder to imagine what will happen when some of this new breed of young'uns we're seeing with Seven get their hands on the game.
