Is there any reason why you guys couldn't sell the full official OSTs directly on your website, a la NISA? Just print a little wraparound with an English tracklisting and job done, English OST!

I'm sure a quick "Ys merchandise available now!" flyer shoved inside every manual would help In all seriousness, I know it's something Westerners are more likely to... "acquire"... but places like VGMworld, CDJapan and even Play-Asia's CD section prove there is an international interest in parting with money for these things. Chuck in some sort of small XSEED-exclusive extra (mini poster/mouse pad/art cards/sampler CD) and you've got a reason for fans to make sure they go to you rather than buy the standard Jp edition too!

I think this set looks pretty damn nice and I'll probably get it...but I'm not in a rush for it like I was with Ys 7. I guess it's due to already having OiF on my PC. The same goes for Chronicles. I know the PSP version has the new soundtrack but we also we were able to add that soundtrack to Complete as well. Meh....I'll still get both just to support XSeed and Wyrd for being cool and bringing them out over here

I actually really liked what I saw of the cover of the mini soundtrack. :'D But then again, I really liked the art in the...... prologue in the manual? And that is THAT artwork, ne?
Ye know what would have been incredibly nice though (for me atleast! No clue if others like knowing each and every bit of the stories as much...)? :'D If.......... somehow... the drama cds had been included. Even Chronicles had one ne?

Felghana is worth it, trust me. Remember, the PSP version isn't just a straight port from the PC: It's got full voice-acting, an added prologue novella (and voice-acted prologue when starting a new game), an added gallery mode, and Double Boost learned at the same time as the double-jump. Plus, it's got a better localization than the PC version. Deuce's translation was good, but remember, it was unedited due to the whole scandal and everything. The PSP version uses Deuce's translation as a base, but with a VERY thorough edit pass, fixing up minor mistranslations and rewording everything for maximum dramatic impact. It's going to be a whole new experience for Oath fans, I think. I've been playing through chunks of it at work to capture ESRB footage these last couple work days, and I have to say, I couldn't be happier with how it turned out... it's freaking awesome. -Tom Well, hot dam then! Now I GOT to go preorder it! I've read all the extras that are on this version before when the import came out but now, after seeing the exact way you put it, it just makes me realize how much I want it now! By the way, since you are "on the inside" how's the voice acting? That's a big thing I am interested to hear first hand as well as actually seeing the prologue novella (I've yet to see any actual pics of it)...

Come work at JC Penney's as a replenishment associate! We could use more souls, err I mean people.
And yes Tom, I'd like to know more about how the voice acting is as well. I'm sure it'll be great, but I'd like to hear first hand how it is.

I'll apply tonight.
And MAYOR GRADY BETTER HAVE THE SAME VA AS IN THE TG16.
<Grady> ADOL M'BOI, VOICE ACTORS ARE WHAT ALL TRUE WARRIORS STRIVE FOR!
Adol explained that the player has to experience the game through him, and therefore needs no voice actor.
<Grady>MAH BOI, YOU ARE NOT A TRUE WARRIOR YET THEN!
Adol frowns.

Wyrd has already raved several times about how good the voice acting is.

I'll see your Ys Oath in Felghana Limited Edition set and I'll raise you a pre-order. : )
Amazon says earliest shipping date will be November 8th though... : (
I absolutely cannot wait to play this and I can't wait to see what all you all did for it voice acting-wise. I really don't think these Ys games could be in any better hands as a publishing company and I'm very thrilled that you are now a part of it Tom!

Wyrd has already raved several times about how good the voice acting is. This means nothing to me. I'll remain skeptical until I actually hear the voices.

I actually love Mayor Grady, he's probably the best VA in the game...not that that's saying much, but, I think he's decent. And for those not wanting to wait for the game to ship....why not also buy the digital version, that's what I did with Ys Seven! Imagine how great the sales would be if EVERYBODY bought the game twice!! Follow my example, & Xseed shall rule the planet

Adol describes to Mayor Grady that he'd like to kill him and take over leadership of Redmont.
<Grady> ADOL MAH BOI.
Adol frowns and describes how he'd like an actual speaking role.

Yeah, I always wondering about the full OST. That's one thing I loved about NISA and that's how they provide the full OST for some of the Atelier series (although not all of them). Anyway, will Adol get voiced?! Haha, just joking because if he does, I think we will all be floored.
About drama cd's, it's too bad you can't just provide a translated script because that would keep the original voice actors while allowing us to understand. However, the whole idea would not really work well with the more general gamers and only us crazy Falcom fans or anime/manga fans who loves drama cds.

So I've never played Ys III or OiF, I'm listening to the soundtrack of OiF on Youtube and I want it now..... So likely November-ish for it, 2 months of no OiF And Ys Seven nightmare won't take me that long.

It better be. You've set up high expectations as far as this game's voice acting goes. I expect to be wowed, dammit! I don't have usually have high standards, but this game better be Blazblue/Soul Nomad good in terms of voice acting.
No pressure, though.
