Hello, Same as the title I was just wondering if there were any kind of codes or trainers for Ys 1 & 2 Complete? Thanks

I have no idea, but I'm interested in a "walk through walls" cheat, if anyone knows how to implement it.
By the way, why are you interested in this? If it's for difficulty reasons, the games are pretty easy, aside from a couple of bosses. Some grinding is "required" (technically, you can always do minimum damage to bosses, but that's not advised), though it's never much.

Nah not for difficulty. Ive gotten pretty far already with no problems. I just like having codes as a back up cause I tend to do stuff like not save for 6 hours and get killed Ive had codes save me alot of grief when I realized I can't win a fight and didn't save in a long time and throw them on mid battle. Plus sometimes its fun to just play around with different codes. I did just read a post on gamefaqs that mentions Falcom games having a type of memory access protection. *edit* Speaking of not saving an dieing. I just lost 2 hours of work cause of it

These two games have a lot of save slots (121), so there's not really a good excuse not to be saving often. Still, it's something I forget to do on occasion. =p

Im just not good at saving, I get wrapped up in the world and story and never think to do it. Ive never played any dragon warrior/quest games cause back in the day I was playing the first one and leveled my guy like 8 levels and did a ton of stuff then walked across the wrong bridge and lost it all. I quit and have still yet to play another DQ game cause of it

Yeah, I get what you mean about being wrapped up in a game's world; that happened to me somewhat when playing Ys Seven. The thing is, these two games for me are currently about testing and re-testing a lot of things, and it's something I'm currently doing without the translation patches, so I've forgotten much of the game's "atmosphere", so to speak. In that regard, I really look forward to when I play the games in English again.
Well, anyway, if you find anything about the "walk through walls" thing, I'd appreciate it. I mostly want it in order to hopefully see the complete graphical layout of a couple screens (due to various boundaries, the screen sometimes doesn't scroll all the way in certain spots).

And here I am saving at every opportunity I get. I usually have at least 20 saves in ANY RPG ... well, excluding handheld games that have like 1 - 3 save slots. (Of course, I make use of all slots too. ^^)
Do you people also not save your work when you're on your computer doing essays or drawings and stuff? :P Because if you don't then you DESERVE that crash.

I use 1-2 saves for every game, and usually it's just one. 20 saves would be a mess. I only save at important points too, such as after a completed quest, before a boss or obviously if I'm gonna stop playing. I save often when I'm writing essays, but you can't compare that. Pressing ctrl+s in a Word document is instantaneous, which going through a menu and waiting for the game to actually save isn't.

For most games, I'm like HJ: one or two saves per playthrough, and generally not very often. However, for Ys I Complete, I've got about 70 saves, and for Ys II Complete, it's about 50. That's only for testing purposes though, and even then, I tend not to save terribly often, as it's pretty quick and easy to get to whatever point I want.

I have an aversion to saving. I just got Ys 7 today. I haven't started it yet though. Was playing the Medal of Honor Beta but thats ending tonight so I think Ill get some time in. The psp definitely needs some more good rpg's.

I think the PSP has more than any other system right now, actually. Handhelds are the place to be if you want RPGs (that aren't made by Bioware or Bethesda) right now.

i only use 1 save slots... 2 only if it's one of those "what if i fail this fight and it changes the storyline"
