Gods, I hate the radio at work sometimes (but I'm too lazy to change the station XD). It's usually either on a Punjabi-Hindi station (when particular staff are working on the weekends) or one that plays recent hits.
I generally don't mind music from current popular artists but I really REALLY cannot stand I Gotta Feeling by Black Eyed Peas and whatever song has the woah oh ohhhh oh woah ohhhhh oh chant.
And soon, in late November and throughout most of December, it'll be stuck on any station that plays Christmas music 24/7. IT'LL BE THE SAME FUCKING 5 CAROLS OVER AND OVER.
Stupid Wham!
Stupid Paul McCartney.
Rage.

Christmas music mainly. Don't really know about any specific artists or genres that I dislike. After all, if I dislike them then my brain discards their information to make room for more memories of video games~

:'D
It doesn't help that whenever I play Suiko V, I ALWAYS somehow get stuck in the village for an hour atleast. D:
*goes a wee bit insane hearing the track again*
Indian/Pakistani/Punjabi songs, film ones in particular, also get a special place of hate in my heart of hearts. X'D

I didn't even need to see the track's name to know exactly what track you were referring to. I can't think of anything off the top of my head, mostly because I isolate myself away from radios and stuff so don't have to listen to anything I don't want to. Aw yeah.

An old friend of mine had a taste in music that I absolutely abhorred. I'm not one to run around telling people that their taste in music is shit, because I firmly believe that music is almost entirely subjective, but goddamn did I hate pretty much everything he liked. Every time I got in his car or went to his house I had to listen to the Black Eyed Peas or Rihanna or something. If I ever hear the song "Umbrella" again I am going to choke somebody. I used to work in a grocery store, too, so I'm inclined to put Christmas carols up there, but that would just be due to the fact that you have to hear this 90 minute loop of songs for 8 hours a day. Strangely enough after a while you can pretty much tune them out entirely, though. Didn't bother me as much as some people who cursed the stores radio daily.

Ah, Haud. Such madness. I wonder what an orchestral or arranged version of that tune would sound like?
Or better yet, just play it with a vuvuzela.
INFINTE ANNOYANCE.
Not really music that drives me up the wall but I really don't like most of the Phantasy Star music I have ever heard. There are some dungeon tunes in Portable 2 that have caused me to turn off the BGM.
In fact, it's gotten to the point that I forgot I had the music off. XD
Silence is so much better. :3

I love Umbrella and its various youtube remixes. I hate most Christmas music, though, and just about every song ever sung in a school choir, because it's ALL overplayed!!
For some reason, I didn't mind so much when they came out with "Rusty Chevrolet". Maybe because I actually don't get an image of a big stinky red pedophile trying to jump down a chimney. Not a big fan of Satan Claus, sorry.

The first thing that comes to mind when I think of 'music I can't stand'?
THIS.
Fucking hate this battle theme.

I thought it was pretty cool the first time I heard it, but it's the 'battle theme that plays past this certain point and plays for the rest of the game' song. This game also has high encounter rates. So I kept having to hear it over.
And over.
And over.
AND OVER.
I swear to God, at this point, it's actually physically painful to listen to.

I'm largely open-minded when it comes to music in turn. While I profess to dislike pop and mainstream crap, my dirty little secret is that I don't find all of it quite that bad at all. >_> (Shh!) However, there are certain genres I just can't suffer through no matter what, barring exceptions so few in number that they barely nudge the scales: 1. Rap/R&B. Ew, just... ew. No. 2. Country. The more recent stuff tends to cross over into the pop category enough that I can tolerate it, but the older stuff just has so much twang it makes me want to find a guitar simply so I can garrote the nearest cowboy with the strings. 3. Jazz. This is primarily due to a personal intolerance for sax. No real logical reason, just... ME NO LIKEY. > Also, I'll join the anti-Christmas music bandwagon. I like traditional carols--and I'm not talking Jingle Bells or Rudolph; I mean God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen and the like. But no soppy, Christmas-inspired radio garbage.

Hey, I didn't say I didn't like it-- I'm just picky about it. No worries, ye shall not be judged on the kind of holiday music you enjoy! Least not by me.

I actually like a few RnB inspired tracks on straight up pop albums, like So Happy I Could Die by Lady Gaga.
I like some country, but mostly "cowboy" music.

I like some alternative hip hop stuff. Like this:
Generally I don't like hip hop or rap at all, though.
Oh, I also can't stand hardstyle.

There's some tight hip hop and rap! Good job, HJ.
I actually like a fair amount of the stuff... TURN THE BEAT BACK!
Aww, Lumi hates sax?! What about the awesome electrosax solo in Last Friday Night (TGIF) by Katy Perry? When I heard that I KNEW I loved that album!

It's odd, there is some rap I like, despite being someone who likes music almost purely for melody, which most raps pretty much lacks (I know some have it, but most don't). Maybe I'm just biased towards Japanese stuff, but I genuinely think that's pretty much the place to go to find good rap. Leastways it's the only place I've found any that I like, save for Sweden, and Pain of Salvation clearly did it as a slight to rap, despite it being the best damn rap I've ever heard. This is probably one of my favorites www.youtube.com/watch?v=biHKQe3rMDII can't find this song NOT in an AMV, unfortunately, and it doesn't start til 1:00 into the vid. www.youtube.com/watch?v=7kMBVp0M8IEAnd if you want to hear Pain of Salvation's rip on rap, it's pretty much amazing. www.youtube.com/watch?v=5WlorPypVj4And if you're in the mood for something COMPLETELY different, here's a Chinese gangsta rap that's done in Chinese, French and English. It's worth listening to just for that alone. www.youtube.com/watch?v=8RdhOwlw7U0

This is a bridge track from one of my favorite albums of all time. It's okay in context, but when you're not listening to it as part of the album, it's just...annoying. Especially because it's my alarm clock theme now

I'm super late in seeing and saying something about this but... I actually recognize this as a VERY good song, and even kinda like it on some level... but I was stuck in that town for soooooo long, and eventually, it just REALLY started wearing on me. As such, I can't stand it anymore! But I do like the piano version. Buuuuu~! You dislike the Rufus March theme?! But it was so much fun! This was one of the few (many) super memorable tracks that always remind me of how fun the original FFVII was! Did you hate it when it started being played in FFIX too? X'D Your dislike for Buried in the Snow reminded me of a track that I DO hate though~ D':

Awwww, the Honeybee Inn tune is cute. TT~
And what's with people posting music they don't mind? D:
Also! Parapara is fun! And One-Winged Angel and all its incarnations need to blow up. It really is one of those tunes that was amazing when you first heard it and then, after the 50th time, you wish it'd just disappear forever. >:(
Gee, can't wait to hear it live at the FF concert ... >_>
