DOUBLE POST!!!, First time i ever heard of this game before. For some reason the art direction reminds me of Namco's 7 and Venus & Brave. I wonder if i could try it. If it the game is excellent i sure would be pick it up for the penny its worth.

So I was looking through Play-asia and noticed most of their Falcom game listings were (Chinese edition) are Japanese ones just out of print or do they list them oddly? I was specifically looking for the LoH6 chapters.

Yeah, Play-Asia aren't worth the bother here. If you're not in a rush for them I'd say wait for a Falcom special offer. Otherwise you have two real choices - either buy them separately on Falcom's site or deputy from somewhere else - especially if you don't mind excellent condition second hand the games are really cheap these days - I usually see sets of FC, SC and 3rd in Sofmap for about 5000 yen.

I haven't seen this one posted yet so... www.gamebaz.com/I dunno. I hear very little about it, and what little about it I hear is pretty good. I got a Super Gameboy 2 from there for a fair amount, and it came in before the end of the week.

That's where I got my Ys III PS2 version. It was the only time I bought from them, but it went well.

Someone posted this link closer to the beginning of the thread. www.ncsxshop.com/cgi-bin/shop/index.htmlI was looking into purchasing Ys7 and saw it at the same price as imported but only like $8 UPS shipping. Beats the hell out of EMS but has anyone had any experience with this company? Is it trustworthy? Thanks

Yep, they absolutely are. I've purchased from them many times. Me too. However, they pissed me off once when they didn't alert me on a pre-order/when something would be in stock several years ago. When I wrote about 2 or 3 e-mails inquiring about it, they got all pissy on me so I've ditched them since. Don't treat customers like shit if you want business. I suppose this could be an isolated incident but still, maybe things are all fine and dandy when they go well but be cautious when issues arise.

Question! Have any of you shopped at either www.toysnjoys.com/or play-japan.com/ ??? I want to contact these places to see if they actually have the Pop'n Music controllers in stock but I just don't know if they're reliable/reputable or not. :/

Toysnjoys. If you can't go into one of their stores (In Hawaii, ofc), they're horrible horrible horrible. Mostly because they have no reliable inventory tracking, but will charge you for it anyway while they attempt to figure out where the items are.
And I'm with wyrdwad, never heard of play-japan.
If only I had some funds I'd start up my import shop again...*sigh*

HMV Japan www.hmv.co.jp/en/Yes, they ship games abroad now! I have no idea how long they've been doing this, but they sure didn't last time I checked. CDs, DVDs fine, never games. Seems that's changed though, and now they offer Amazon level discounts and, by the looks of it very fast shipping. My preorders here are all showing that they're estimated to be delivered on release date. Which is awesome. JShoppers Forwarding Service www.jshoppers.com/forward/index-eg.aspHaven't used this, but consensus on the internet seems to be that they're totally reliable, but do usually take about 2 weeks for your stuff to arrive. Basically it's one of the newer principled deputy services where you buy your own stuff and get it shipped to them in Japan, then they'll forward it on to you abroad. The best thing about this one? No handling fees

So, uh, I just bought a 3000 yen PSN ticket from ncsxshop.com, as recommended earlier in this thread (or was it in another thread?)... and yeah... when do they actually send the code to you? I would figure that the order would need to be processed by someone first though. ^^ During regular business hours, maybe? I'm just guessing. D: Wait -- why are YOU awake at this hour?

And now I have to wait for my Project Diva expansion, which is apparently available on PSN for 2000 yen RIGHT THIS MINUTE. :( If I could, I would check the ISO sites now just so I could say, "CFW is where it's at, baby!" But I wonder of DLC is restricted with firmware versions too? o_O Because that would mean that while that game works on whatever it was released for and the DLC is for 6.20 OFW .... Or maybe there's some other sort of protection??? And I'm not sure that 3rd party vendors would have a system especially for tickets/codes. :| They probably gotta go onto PSN and buy it on behalf of you! ^O^~ (Wait -- are there physical cards like Wii Point cards? o_O)

Yep. It's Hello Planet I really want. I'm a sucker for rhythm minigames. (: Does the DLC get rid of Miku's lame room?

Nope! That's still there, and completely unused by all. (: I wonder if there's any game out there that has a cool room to decorate with unlocks? >:( Even the room in Mamegoma game was sort of lame. :(((

Does a game have to be "The Sims" before it's awesome?

I wouldn't know. I've been out of the game for so long, all I know about The Sims is the first game, offline; and as far as I'm concerned, that's all I needed to know. Nothing beat making graveyards haunted by ghosts of people who were at a swimming pool party where the ladder mysteriously vanishes into thin air after they take a dive.

Don't get me started on how awesome of an MMO DAoC was (technically 'is')
I kinda wish LEGO Universe would use a general area that you could rent a plot of land and show off what you've built like the housing zones in DAoC, but it looks like they're going with individual zones per player ala Mog Houses in FFXI or My Room in PSU. So that means that nobody'll ever actually see your stuff unless they are actively looking for it. At least in PSU, player shops were run from their rooms, so people'd see your room layout when they'd go to buy stuff from your shop

I have an extensive knowledge about Japanese imports and all. The problem is I want some games from Europe ( I am looking at the limited edition box of Kingdom Hearts BBS). Does anyone know a good site to order european version of games?

I also wish to know where I could find Maple Story DS, which is Korean. O.o Granted I wouldn't "understand" it, but I never really *read* anything on the online/hacked version anyway. Just when I have the money, so I could support the developers. After that, I'll need to find a good DS flashcart/thing so I could play the translated version. I did the same thing with Mother 3, except I played that on both the PSP (AWESOME) and Wii (Pretty good!). I still keep my complete box wrapped up and sealed in plastic (but still opened; so it's not in *new* condition, but like new!).
