I'm using the PS2 version and I can't stand the foul save point system. I'm wondering if anyone knows a way to cheat save anywhere option somehow. Even if you respawn at the way points.
Another question, is the save game system the same in the PC version? Or is there a save anywhere similar to Ys I & II?

OK, thanks. It's just annoying when you level 3 or 4 times then get killed and have to level all over again. I am using an emulator, but the save state option doesn't appear to have a neat little handy function hotkey. Oh well.

Yeah, that's why Falcom introduced the "room retry" feature in Felghana PSP, I think. Which, if you ask me, was an AWESOME addition. -Tom oh yes... stupid clock tower on nightmare... lol

Especially when you're a moron, get lost in the volcano, and keep running into the room with all of the beetles. To my credit, I was doing it on public transit...
