I'm just curious about what animals you folks find ugly.
Mine would be pugs and chihuahuas (however you spell it). Hippos are kind of icky too but I don't see pics of those as much as them doggies. :V

Definitely looks like a Metroid boss. Killing those things while they hatch and still finding the time to shoot into the things mouth is a nightmare.
Speaking of nightmares, I'll never sleep the same after seeing that. Thanks a lot, Lumi.
I was going to agree with Nunuu on pugs and chihuahuas, and throw in mexican harilesses, but now I feel the urge to cuddle one after seeing that damn thing.

The waterbug entry on Wikipedia doesn't show that hideous egg-carrying bit. Several animals, specially insects and amphibians, carry eggs/offprings on their backs... I don't think so, Karura-chan. I hate bugs, and to be honest I'm not very fond of amphibians either. Some lizards are alright, but that's it. |

Sorry everyone. ^.^;; As I said- I had NO idea those disgusting little critters existed before my teacher "suggested" we google image search for "water bug." Offhandedly- I know SO many people who hate snakes and think they're hideous, but I don't really get it. I've always thought they were kinda neat, myself. Must be really ugly animals, because I don't see any pictures here. D: I'm hurt! As for water bugs, they're not that bad -- not even the one in that picture carrying the eggs. However, I've once seen one feeding on YouTube... it's scary. If that were in an Ecco the Dolphin game, it would be the most horrifying Ecco killer ever! ...I looked it up after a dream where dad asked if I've seen a "deadly" water bug. So that's exactly what I looked up -- a "deadly water bug". They're so much nicer when they're just skidding on the water! |
