Garman would be cool. Romn would be... stressful, considering that those guys are always jerks.
But surely there's more to the world of Ys than only that map of "Europa," right? Why not take Adol into some Ysified version of China, for example? I would LOVE that..

I'm not that familiar with Ys but most of the places Adol goes to seem rather down-to-earth. It would be neat if he had one adventure that even Dogi wouldn't believe, like going to the moon, or visiting an undersea mermaid country (with no other men at all), or something.
Then you could have a grumpy prologue with an academic complaining about how this is clearly fanfiction and analyzing which elements from other myths were mixed into Adol's more prosaic story.
...Maybe too much Umineko has ruined me for non-meta stories XD;

Adol should go to Australia to cull the overpopulation of giant Roos. And then mate with them afterwards for fun.

or visiting an undersea mermaid country (with no other men at all), or something. Those would be disappointed mermaids. If Adol can't recognize when multiple attractive girls want his babies, he's not going to notice a bunch of scantily clad mermaids unless they tie him down and force the issue and somehow I don't see Falcom going that direction. Though I still support the idea of Terra forming her own pirate crew consisting entirely of Adol's would-be girlfriends, sailing the seas of the world in search of adventure and (Adol's) booty. I like the idea of a more active narrator. Say, someone like Kyon in the 'Adventures of Asahina Mikuru' story, occasionally interrupting the story to comment on things like the absurdity of monsters with laser beams.
