Hey there. I'm loving the awesome work that went into the English patch for the game. I'm just having a problem. The game looks awful in wide screen. There isn't an option to play in window mode. The reason I want to play in window mode is so I can take snapshots of the game. If I do so in full screen I just get a black screen. Is there a way to upscale the game without blur? I have a 55 inch tv so things are not looking so hot. Thanks for reading and any help. Oh, game runs great otherwise!!

That sounds kinda unusual...widescreen..? I found I can take print screens in any view. It sounds like some kind of graphical incompatibility. Did you try r-click/hit the setup? I just uninstalled the game for now so sorry I can't be of any better help!
The other way would be to look in the installed folders, I found lots of stray screenies which I had no idea I had taken (Be honest, do you really need snapshots that badly..?)

I'm not aware of if Ys Complete has a Windowed Mode or not; if it does, Alt+Enter is the universal Fullscreen / Windowed toggle for pretty much every game.
If your display is automatically stretched and/or blurred, you can deactivate these options in your video processor's Control Panel settings. Every video card driver comes with a branded Control Panel, so if you don't see "ATI Catalyst Control Panel", "Intel Graphics Accelerator Settings" or something like that on your machine, just download it from the manufacturer of your graphics processor. If it's already installed, you'll find it in either the System Tray, the menu when right-clicking the Desktop, or the Windows Control Panels (it's usually several of these locations).
I make a point of playing games in their original aspect ratio, so I always disable stretching the moment I reinstall any OS. I'm not sure about the blurriness, though; some GPUs let you disable the upscale blur, others don't.
If I remember correctly, Ys Complete has a designated screenshot button, but I can't recall what it is for the life of me. You might want to experiment with the different F-keys (or run the readme through Google Translate). If that doesn't work and PrintScreen won't behave, you can use FRAPS or HyperSnap-DX to do the job. HyperSnap-DX has never failed me in that department (just make sure you register it if you don't want your screens to be watermarked).
