Good Evening (Morning, Afternoon),
I usually just glance around the boards but I have something that I need to ask about Ys Seven's mechanics:
1. I have read that the max level is Level 99 in the game, and some sources have stated that it is impossible to reach this level through ordinary play, since the required EXP amounts are so astronomical that it would lead to the destruction of the PSP. I know it can be done via cheats or codes, but I play games fairly, and do not want to cheat.
So regarding above, is it possible to reach Level 99 without cheating?
2. What is the max time the game clock can go to? I've seen various save files of Ys Seven and they seem to be hacked or coded, since the party is like at Level 60-70 with a mere 20+ hours logged on the clock.
Does the clock reset after 99:59:59 to 00:00:00 (therefore making the saves above legit and sensible) or do we go into the 100+:59:59 etc range (like in FF X for example)??
If anyone can answer my questions, I would greatly appreciate it.

1. It's possible provided you have absolutely nothing better to do with your time than level up to 99 despite 60 being overkill. 2. No clue.

I found the answer to the Timer question: It goes into 100+:00:00 and continues counting.
