Well I really want to play this game so I downloaded a PCE emulator and this game but the PCE emulator can't find the iso/bin/cue. Am I suppose to somehow convert my Ys 4 to a PCE file?
As you can see I have no clue what I am doing. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

i usually mount the ISO to Daemon Tools and the emulator reconizes it as a CD Disc and plays it that way, what emulator are you useing? this works on Magic Engine i know for a fact but it may not work for you

Magic Engine only recognizes Disc Drives so what I did was use Alcohol 120% to create virtual drives for Magic Engine to recognize. It has to be in CUE/BIN format for this to work. I would recommend checking this site out in the tutorial section in-case you need to convert: www.necstasy.net/I also attached the System Cards for the emulator as I remember them being very difficult to find online.

@zeo-mare I've tried this. I use Magic engine but it doesn't notice any Drives besides D: and it gets an error in that one for some reason @salamander Is it recommended I get Alcohol 120%? And for the format being in CUE/BIN you are reffering to the rom correct? Not sure which tutorial to follow Any recommendations?. also is having the actual game necessary? I took a quick glance at some and may have misread. (Currently not home right now)

Hmm... I can't remember how I did this. I'm guessing you have the rom of Ys IV? consisting of the ISO/MP3 files I'm assuming. If so, I would recommend burning the rom unto a CD following the tutorial Burning using CDRWin. From here, you should be able to play the game easily from your disc drive using Magic Engine with the System Cards I forgot to include. If you want to play the games from your computer, I would follow the tutorial How to make a Bin/Cue using CDRWin. I would mount the image using Alcohol 120% which is a program that has to be purchased (or you can try get a pirate copy). From here, Magic Engine should recognize the virtual drives, it works for me. That is all she wrote "Some people wear Superman pajamas. Superman wears Chuck Norris Pajamas."Attachments:
