I know you can't reveal what games you have coming before the official announcements, but, can you hint to us how long it may be before we hear any announcements of any future games? Weeks, months, years?
Now, a question, if for some odd reason you guys did decide to bring over Brandish, what is the possibility of you looking into having other versions of the soundtrack ingame? I know you tried on Oath & Chronicles, but both of those I think are more complicated in there nature legally speaking. Probably I'll guess cuz of Ryo Yonemitsu doing the music, & not Hudson themselves. I'm actually not totally sure if he was on his own, or a part of Falcom?
Anyways, the versions of Brandish for consoles were by NEC(PC Engine CD) & Koei(for the SNES). I'm pretty sure that they both just used inhouse musicians to make the music, so, I'm hoping they could be used(especially the PCE CD version), assuming that was one of the legal difficulties.
Also, I'm sure there was a PC version or 2, including those versions would be great, although, Falcom probably already has them included for all I know. I don't know much about the PSP version.
So, if you guys decided to someday pick up Brandish, that would rock!!

Uh, isn't it Falcom themselves that decide what soundtracks are put into remakes?

Yes, however Tom has said they were trying to get other versions of the soundtracks added to Oath in Felghana & Chronicles, but coudn't due to various reasons(some songs not in the older versions, & legal stuff).
They apparently tried with each game, so, I would assume that there is reason to try again, & that it's not totally Falcom's call other then them giving the go ahead to any rights that Falcom holds solely.

As for the music, I know it's a longshot, but, just wanted to make sure it's thrown out there for you guys to think about. Hmm, you said Falcom games, not game, but gamesssssss. Interesting Yeah, without an announcement yet, I was guessing later on this year maybe we'd see some wielding going on, maybe later summer or later was my guess. I had a feeling Falcom already had the original PC music in there, but, wasn't 100% sure. And I actually started a similar thread like this in Brandish at Gamefaqs, but, I wasn't sure how long it'd be before you'd see the message

Meh, not my cup o' tea, I have the first five Wizardry's for the PC Engine CD, they don't do anything for me, nor does anything I've read about this game either. Oh well, I hope it's not riddled with text so as to slow other projects down, like TitS part 2 or Brandish, or anyother games you might have in the pipeline.

If it plays at all similarly (yeah, I know, it's based on Wizardry, of course it'll play similarly, but that's not quite what I mean) to the Wizardry game Atlus released on PS2, I'm in. Or I would be if I had a PS3. =/

*grumble* This does nothing for me. I'm not a big dungeon crawl fan, and I don't really like the idea of purchasing a game just for my party to be wiped out ten minutes in.

As I said on Facebook, I want the game just for the beautiful art by Yuki Hayabusa. She's one of my favorite artists.

I have a PS3
I don't care if it's a digital, or physical release
and, I'm super excited, even though it hasn't been announced. It's like you guys picked up Wizardry just for me.

Just got the email through - digital download only by the looks of it. Good luck with it guys, but downloads really aren't my cup of tea.

Something I've been wondering, & I don't recall seeing anyone on any forum ask, is, has Jess started work on translating SC yet?
I know the battle voices are all done, but, what about text? If you guys wanna get those games out, I hope SC is already underway!

Downloaded the demo from the Japan shop and it was fun. Definitely buying it on day 1. Hopefully this sells well so that Xseed can bring out more of the interesting Japanese PSN games.
