Ah, it was just supposed to be a teaser video, huh? I was expecting a trailer for some reason. Well, it looked pretty cool and the music sounded pretty nice. However it was really brief so I don't really know what to think.
Those screens of the guys on the floor flash by so fast, I doubt anybody could see them without really intense play and pause button spamming.

Oh yeah, I saw those images on your site. Although I wonder how many people would visit Dengeki normally.
I believe there's also a very brief image of Randy sort of kneeling down, holding onto his staff, which shows right before Tio and Elie. Actually, when I advance through the frames, it looks like he's getting hit by some kind of explosion...
That said, I don't really know much about Zero, so the trailer doesn't make much sense to me (although, judging from your response, I assume it's the same for everybody).

Somehow, I don't think Falcom is cruel enough to pull a Chrono Cross on us and if they were, they sure as hell wouldn't advertise it front and center right after announcing the game (unless the 'biggest climax ever' they were talking about is 'oh yeah, you know the SSS you grew to love last game? Look how happy they are! That was all just a trick to get you interested. No, wait, they all die at the beginning of this one and the whole game is Lloyd's hallucination as he lays there dying, mwahaha!'). From the accompanying text it feels more like something KeA is seeing rather than something that happens.

Hmm... I don't log into here much but just got to because.... I never played any of the games yet the trailer just made me go "Wt?" Can't believed the trailer show all 4 knocked out. However it seems all of them have their eyes closed so it can be still kind of hopeful that they're not dead. No, wait, they all die at the beginning of this one and the whole game is Lloyd's hallucination as he lays there dying, mwahaha!'). From the accompanying text it feels more like something KeA is seeing rather than something that happens. Woah! That would be just rather cruel! However a scenario like that sounds really familiar... Wasn't there a game like that where you played through the entire game only to find out it was all a dream before he/she died (definitely not Klonoa since he is still alive)? Perhaps the trailer is actually showing an event that Kea fear would happen like yotaka said?

That's probably the case. I feel like KeA is going to be the final boss (or the main antagonist that Lloyd and co. have to defeat for the sake of drama) since she says that everything will return to zero if her dream cannot continue (or something to that degree). Her powers, which are said to be incomparable to Joachim's, will definitely play a key role. So even if Lloyd and co. died at the beginning, maybe she used her powers save them but in turn caused something catastrophic to the entire world? It seems to me the younger characters are in the Kiseki series, the more powerful they are. It's one of those irritating Japanese anime cliches. I can't stand Renne but maybe Falcom can get it right with KeA and make this young girl with huge powers a likable character.

I think this opens an interesting situation where the heroes are held hostage to maipulate the heroine, instead of the other way around. And I'm kind of curious to see how all the various organizations in Zemulia will react to KeA.
Also Falcom opened preorders for all 3 versions of Ao no Kiseki on their online shop.

Is anybody in the process of obtaining the previous issue of Dengeki PS or know if clearer scans have been released?
I found some pretty interesting transcripts/translations from a reliable Chinese blog, but I don't know how legit they are.
This first note about Olivier should be, since I can almost read his caption.
This quote really interests me, but I don't know which page mentions it (seems to be from a short interview).

Wow, that sounds like a 'holy' boss fight... Wonder how it'll be used in-game?

For some reason I woke up early after staying with Floofy and Varion to wait for news~ Here is a photo I found. www.imagebam.com/image/36bf19127607442Looks like "Arianrhod" is her name after all (it's from Welsh mythology.) I can't imagine her walking around like that in Crossbell. Hopefully she has another outfit XD Story news: Lloyd: the SSS becomes temporarily dissolved and he goes to the 1st Dept for anti-terror training. KeA: starts going to sunday school Elie: works for her grandfather, but... Arios: starts working together with Lloyd after a certain incident (he better not go back to the police.. make up your mind, man) Noel: changes workplace? Lazy: does something mischievous? Arianrhod: 7th Angis of Uroboros. Has a strong moral code but is harsh to her foes. Shirley: 16, innocent but can be scary, visits Crossbell with somebody and can be seen flitting here and there Olivart Rise Arnour: visits Crossbell for a certain reason The articles also includes pictures from the PV, a history of Crossbell, info on shop bonus items. Next issue of DPS will finally show screenshots! EDIT: art of the returning characters www.imagebam.com/image/c10d5e127610198I miss Enami Katsumi...

Hmm... hard to tell if it's their in-house artist or not, coloring says yes but the penmanship says it's still Katsumi.
Also, Arianrhod is now my new favorite character. (Other than Lloyd and Olivier of course)

Well, there goes the hope that the appearance of the Seventh means automatically returning Anelace (grandpa would have been an absolutely perfect fit for the position too). Well, it'll be interesting to see how this plays out.
As for everyone else... not too much to work with aside from a justification for the lack of Elie and a hint that Noel's new outfit comes with a possible change in job. Nothing much useful on Shirley yet. Falcom, you tease.

Well, there goes the hope that the appearance of the Seventh means automatically returning Anelace (grandpa would have been an absolutely perfect fit for the position too). Well, it'll be interesting to see how this plays out. I rewatched that scene in 3rd last night and the 7th has a polite speech pattern and calls herself 'watashi'. Arianrhod looks to fit both of those, although the drill-spear is a bit of a surprise. If you want to keep hoping that Yun Kafei is an Angis, there's always the 5th, who talks like an old man. I'm happy with her, she looks cool That is a very in-your-face suit of armor though. Are they planning on working in the open now?

*Rewatches scene* Yeah, guess the speech pattern for the Seventh fits Arianrhod, though I'm still thrown by the fact that she specifically hoped for Loewe to become a better swordsman than her one day, yet she uses a giant spear.
As for the Fifth, the speech fits but Yun Kafei was mostly interesting because of the fact that he's a swordsman and trained most of the resident badasses in the art. I suppose nothing rules him out but it seems like he'd be cooler if he were the Seventh, especially if Arios is playable now. Ah well, nothing to be done for it.

Anyone else pre-ordered this yet? I sent an order via e-mail like 3 days ago and Falcom still hasn't replied Edit: Does Falcom charge pre-orders right away? The game isn't releasing until 9/29, but pre-orders last only until 5/31 I believe for the perfect edition (must...have...nendoroids!)

It took about a week (including the weekend) for me to hear back. That's pretty normal. Also, they charge when it ships and right now they don't know what the fee is anyways because they're not sure what the shipping weight of the preorder LE is going to be.
