Oh god all of the music previews so far are amazing. I'm obligated not to be hyped for the game itself since no Japanese skills, but the soundtrack looks like it might be one of Falcom's best yet. I wonder if the SUPERIOR LIVE-RECORDED SOUNDTRACK is only for the boss theme like Ys Seven. D:

Finally got an order confirmation from Falcom and....well....
3200 Yen for the shipping T_T
Might be too pricy for me. I'll take about a day to think about whether I should go ahead with it or cancel.
Tough choice :/

Have you checked some other online shops for their prices? Yesasia has the limited edition for sale at 122 USD (free shipping), which is slightly cheaper than the total cost of ordering the same thing from Falcom (154 USD).

Don't think it's been posted, but the official site updated today.
Interestingly, one of the locations you can visit is Altair, a city located towards the far west of Calvard. Is this the first time we get to visit Calvard (I've only played up to the halfway point of the 3rd)?

Yeah, this is the first time we visit Calvard (assuming the card minigame in 3rd, being set in a fictionalized version of Calvard, doesn't count. Falcom, you're giving me a headache.) We should hopefully also visit the Empire and Remifilia too! Yay!

The OP song sounds so hardcore... I want to hear the full version soon!! They said they'd be premiering it at the next JDK Live event, IIRC.

New info ahoy! So, following up the Epic Trailer of Raniki Reintroduction, they've given us an Orlando-centric update. Randy's been spending his time back with the CGF. He's got a new weapon (the Berserker, sharing a name with Agate's best weapon from FC), a long rifle with a blade attached. His Stun Halberd will appear in cutins. Next, we've got Sigmund Orlando (CV Inada Tetsu), Randy's uncle (apparently Daddy Orlando wasn't enough). He's got an eyepatch so you know he means business. He's known as the Red Battle Demon. Oh, and he uses a gigantic axe and is the individual seen with Cao mentioned in an earlier magazine article. He's come to Crossbell with Shirley on a job. And speaking of whom, Shirley Orlando, Sigmund's daughter and Randy's cousin (though she calls him big brother). Voiced by Taketatsu Ayana. She's known as Bloodstained Shirley and given that her weapon is said to be rifle with a chainsaw attached to it, I can guess why. I think I love her already. Oh, and they made a point of mentioning that her S-Craft they named for us is an enemy move. And here I thought that Orlando family reunions were likely to be really awkward before... There's also a new system called Burst which can be used when all four characters max out their Burst Points (it's fairly specific about needing four, not 'all active characters'). It sounds like it provides an AT boost, cures stat abnormalities and if I'm not mistaken, lets you use Arts with zero chant time. BP seems to decrease over time until you max the gauge. There's also a new Combo Craft mentioned for Randy and Noel called Howling Blade and a Support Craft for Tio called Mega Zero Cannon.

Shirley's weapon sounds rather...gory. I'd hate to be on the opposing side of it .

The Orlando family is coming off as almost scarier than Ouroboros, honestly. 0_0
Also it's cool that we get to see Randy's rifle/axe/shovel/THING in action (I was expecting more of a sniper rifle...) but I hope he reverts to the Stun Halberd later. It fits him really well.
PS imagine a battle versus Randy, Shirley, Sigmund, and the as-yet-unnamed War God. Tio's going to be kept busy cranking out those Zero Fields!

There's now a collage up on Endless History showing some pictures from the magazine. Randy's Berserker is... wow. Shirley's weapon isn't much smaller. Also, I goofed; Sigmund uses two huge axes, not just one. This is what I get for trying to translate at 11 PM. The Orlando family is coming off as almost scarier than Ouroboros, honestly. 0_0 Almost. Ouroboros still has Campanella and the Seventh Pillar 'I'm better than Loewe' Arianrhod after all. Now, when Daddy Orlando shows up, we'll see...

I LOVED that trailer. I want the game to come out even faster now . Campanella was in it quite a bit...hopefully we'll get to learn more about him.

I'm sure that's just as much of a coincidence as his aging oddities, his general resemblance to Ein and his similarities with Harlequin from the Doll Knight books...

Lol. In the world of the Kiseki series, nothing is a coincidence. Nothing. Makes my head hurt thinking about what in Ao could have possibly been foreshadowed in FC . Anyway, so about the new Dengeki scans...Am I the only one who wants to learn mroe about Lechter ? I hope he has a more important role in Ao.

His role will be to stand there and make perverted comments as Shirley gropes her way through every female in the cast with a bigger chest than her own (meaning, every female character over the apparent age of 14 or so). Also, floofy just posted the latest Dengeki updates. Amusingly enough, Lechter is featured in them (along with Girias and Mueller). It also confirms that Doctor Creepy from the OP is Novartis. One presumes that with two Angis in play already, if Lechter really is the Fourth they probably won't be revealing his double (or would that be triple?) identity in this game.

Hmm...Well, I can always hope, right XD? I mean, while we hadn't met Novartis until now, we've known about him since SC.
I'd say triple identity. Or maybe quadruple, if you count his identity as a gambler. Unless he's hiding even more.

The site just updated with character profiles for Olivier, Mueller, Girias and Lechter... except that Girias Osborn has now become Giliath Osborne and Lechter Arundel has become Lecter Arandor. I think this may be an indication that Workshop Thirteen is cranking out doppelgangers again... Also, there's a blurb about Garelia Fortress.
