I haven't received my copy yet, and I'm not sure I'll even find the time to play it when I do, but I just wanted to offer my congratulations to you and your coworkers for not only translating the untranslatable horror that is SnK, but also, judging by all the accounts I've seen across the web, doing a bang up job of it too! It's really an amazing achievement, and I'm so glad to see the game getting the positive reception it deserves!
Now excuse me while I lurk this forum waiting for reactions to a certain rather infamous chunk of the game. ^^''
I really wish they didn't make the masked man's identity so obvious to people who know stuff about SC and 3rd. ;_;
I'm a bit puzzled here. If you know stuff about SC and 3rd, it should be expected that you know stuff about FC since those games are sequels to it. Besides, it's not like you're getting spoiler'd by FC as...
Well, I don't know much about SC or 3rd. Especially since I've never played them and have been avoiding spoilers for the most part. But the popularity of Silver Will has at least spoiled that much, it seems.
Meant to chime in earlier but only recently pulled myself away long enough to post. Got my LE from Amazon yesterday and been having a blast with it. Still in the Prologue due to not having a lot of time yet and talking to just about everyone I can find after every event, major or minor.
So far I can't say I've seen anything in the game that makes it stand out from other animu-styled JRPGs other that it just feels damned solid. Given, I'm not that far in yet so this is just initial reaction.
On the other hand, I know the sure as hell does draw me in. On Friday I sat down to play the game for an hour and 4 hours later.....
Oh and found me some Shining Poms.

Just got to the Final Chapter. Hard to believe I'm almost near the end. Doesn't really feel like there's enough buildup to a grand finale, though I assume that's because there's still a fourth of the game left and due to it being the first game in a trilogy.
Also, this is probably one of my favorite RPGs ever. Just saying.
Oh yeah. Forgot I had that. It'll also alleviate my fears that I'll be overleveled for the last boss. Speaking of that, I'm not sure if it's a good idea to ask Mr. Retry Offset(), but what's a good, challenging level to fight the last boss at?
