Has anyone seen the collectors edition for pre-order anywhere (UK/Euro version)? I'd really like to get this and it was shown on the European WoW site but I cant find anywhere that does it, they all have the standard version.

I think you have a VERY slim chance on getting the WoW collectors edit. now, did you check the main european websites? amazon.co.uk

Yeah. I'm getting the feeling they aren't going to release the collectors edition over here now. I hope they do because I love the artwork and I want it for the book and making of which is pretty interesting from the clip I've seen.

Well, they DID sell WoW:CE at www.webhallen.com but I think it was fullbooked after 3days. Kinda fun, choose either to have a Zergling or Diablo as a pet ^_^

Well I couldn't get the CE, but I got the normal version and it's great. It really feels like a proper world compared to SWG and the game structure is much, much better. I'm on Burning Blade (Horde) if anyone else is playing (character name Bloodnok).

The CE isn't that much to freak out about. The "cloth" map feels like vinyl thread, the DVD has about 30 minutes of content, the pet is a waste of time, and you get over the art book pretty fast.

It is a matter of taste. Personally, I would never buy WoW because it sucks horses arse. But to see mini-diablo or Zergling, that must be darn awe-cool
