Probably old news, but as a Vanillaware lover, I was incredibly excited about Dragon's Crown. Anyone else here feel the same?

Yes. Until the PS3 part
Though it does look solid and has 4 player co-op

Very cool! I'm a big Vanillaware fan, though even though I've collected all of them (Princess Crown, Odin Sphere, Grim Grimoire, and Muramasa The Demon Blade) I've only ever finished one of them completely, Odin Sphere, which I loved. It looks like a spiritual follow-up to Princess Crown meets the old-school Capcom Tower of Doom/ Shadow over Mystaria AD&D games. Definitely looks fun! Edit: Hey what do you know, George Kamitani said he worked on Tower of Doom. Go figure. : ) And he also enjoyed games like King of Dragons and Golden Axe. Neat stuff. www.1up.com/news/vanillaware-george-kamitani-dragon-crown-Thomas

PS3 is just fine by me, plus it gives other people another reason to get one, or atleast get a PSV.

Penny Arcade had an amusing little snippet about this game -
It does look absolutely beautiful, apart from the slightly scary Amazon lady o.O

the Amazon lady does look absolutely beautiful Fixed that for you. I hate to say it, but I'm actually excited for this. Mostly because of the Amazon, and it coming out for the Vita and all.

I see somebody likes humans of indeterminate gender. But yeah, that overly muscular monster woman scares the hell outta me!
