Too meta to be amusing. Remember people, doing things "ironically" means you're still doing the same stupid shit you are trying to make fun of

Yup its love-hate with the NES port...I can think of better versions. I kinda wish there'd been a port of II to MS.

I stopped listening when I heard him talk. I get very annoyed easily when I hear people talk in reviews and stuff. Maybe because I'm easily annoyed by voices? Idk, it's a weird psychological problem of mine. This is why I avoid Let's Plays and video reviews. /end jerk mode

Yeah, I didn't much get into it either. I had hopes after seeing the crudely drawn Ys logo that it would be a video about the series in a "roast" kind of way making fun of it and the like, but it just seemed like some guy who just happened to discover the famicom version of Ys I tried to sound like he's smarter than the people who actually made the game. I know the famicom port is rough for a lot of people, but it's still a pretty solid Ys game with some uniqueness to boot. I also got rather annoyed with his repetitious use of a phrase that the Angry Video Game Nerd coined as to try and sound.... cooler?
What this made me want more though is a solid "Ys Roasting" video with crudely drawn flash animation and game video captures. Now that would be fun!

It's satire and a parody of Irategamer plus uses some lines from AVGN. it's esp not being serious when it says the island in the sky rips off MK64 and the title screen rips off DOA basketball.(it doesn't exist)
Not saying I liked it. TBH I think it was rather dull. Just saying don't take it serious as he was trying to be funny in a parody.

I too thought that was a real live animated person, but then I read the video description,
Don't let it ruin your world view, though. Colbert is still a Republican. The Onion is still a reliable professional informational periodical. And all my posts are still 100% serious. Especially this one.
