So some days ago I downloaded the Ys Origins from the net ( wait for it ... ). I played it a few years ago and it was as awesome as it was today! So I started searching, because I want to buy it! But I'm populated in Sweden ( Europe ) and I don't know where to get it. Also It seams that Falcom are giving it away for free: www.sourcenext.com/present/panasonic/Ys.html?i=ecgtWell that is what I think atleast, since i cant read japanese. And how do I get the "Expansion Disc" Is it included inside the Ys Origin CD ( If you buy it )?

Extra disc is built into all versions other than the first DVD print run. I dunno what version the downloads are based off of though. That being said there is a download link to the extra disc on here somewhere...let me fish it out www.sendspace.com/file/zcmww5I'd check what that Panasonic Club version is before wasting more time downloading the extra disc though, try to start a new game and if Nightmare difficulty is there then you already have all the content

Hmmm... Did anyone else have any luck downloading this? I personally can't get my Login ID validated, and I don't know why. I tried everything...

I downloaded it. Besides jumping through the hoops of registering at club panasonic everything went well. This is the 1100 release so you won't need the extra disc. I was hoping for the 1110 version. The current english patch however will not patch the exe though so you end up with a partially translated game and lots of gibberish characters. I think the Groupon people had the same issue. Anyway to resolve this issue use the official 1103 update first then run the patch. I just tested this as I was typing and it works. I have an english 1103 version of the game.

Just managed to download it myself... This was even more painful than it was with Ys VI Groupon, which was harder than YsO Groupon... In case anyone wants to try downloading this version, lemme warn people in advance that you password MUST contain BOTH normal roman characters AND numbers - not just one of these. That aside, it also has to be of 8-16 characters in length. Aside the Panasonic form, the procedures are exactly the same as they were for downloading Ys VI PC. The Sourcenext e-mail (not the Panasonic ones you'll get first) will give you a link, and a "serial" code of sorts, which you'll have to paste on a form in that link you'll be given. On said link, you also ignore the first row. The last two rows are where you need to re-enter your e-mail for the 48397th time. After that, it's just a "click-click-click" thing. I wonder if they'll release Ys VI with more recent patches, as well... Also, yeah, I do have to agree: too bad it wasn't THE most recent version possible, version 1.1.1.0, since the only way to have that version is to buy the Windows 7 version specifically, not even allowing XP/Vista version users to upgrade their games to that. So far. ><

I can read some minor things. For what I couldn't handle, I used Google Translator. Take your time to do it, as it will take some time for you to proceed properly. Keep Google Translator with you, and use it often, paciently.

AFAIK, you need to finish the game with all characters at least once.
